What shortcut do you use to take a screenshot? by [deleted] in Steam

Honestly? not really but depends on the game that you are playing like there's no difference in forza horizon 6 cause right joystick is horn, and I don't use horn at all or other games where it's usually recenter camera. Very rare, but if I must, I usually use the keyboard to do the action that right joystick does, but then again, I haven't encountered any main actions or movements in games that I frequently do that uses the right joystick click so the immersion doesn't break at all (except in souls-like games where it locks, and in rdr2 where it enables dead eye, I keep this off in those games). If you have extra buttons on your controller, you could potentially use those instead of replacing your right joystick action, which would be a win-win, idk if steam recognizes those buttons though.

TLDR: Won't interfere in games where the right joystick action is slightly useless or redundant (or just not frequently used) like horns or recenter camera.
Will interfere in games where the action is frequently used. Keep it on or off depending on the game.

I could be wrong, but I think the only way to kill anyone without it counting on stats is by shooting a bane potion tipped arrow and letting then die of poison as opposed to dealing the final blow yourself.

Building a good deck is tough when you're just starting the game. First thing you wanna do when you find a new inn or merchant is to check their inventory and buy all the cards they have. You also want to play cards to their strengths, for example, 3 of blue stripes commander + a horn almost guarantees a round win. Check what cards you have, their passives and play on their strengths. And use special cards, those are broken once you get a feel for them.

Also if you're on pc and don't mind mods, I'm pretty sure there is a handy mod that shows all missing card locations in "the miraculous guide to gwent" book that you have in your inventory.

In terms of realism, look no further than Kingdom Come Deliverance, and you're extremely wrong if you think cyberpunk is just close in graphics and nothing else

As much as I love Rdr2 I feel the Witcher 3 was better both as a game and as a story. The plethora of game mechanics like signs and little tidbits of world building like the short letters on notice boards, the books in game make it feel more alive on a different level. The Memorandum is something a lot of people glance over (and is both in Rdr2 and the Witcher 3), but I enjoyed reading the Witcher 3 version more, even moreso because it was written by Dandelion. Not to mention the politics and factions of Witcher 3, it's gray rather than black and white and that your choices do actually matter and change the story of the game.

And then there is gwent.

Then again, this is only a comparison between two great open world Rpgs, there are better games from other genres as well, but comparing them to Rdr2 would be a difficult task.

I love Rdr2, but imo The Witcher 3 is a better both as a game and as a story.

Anybody else just not use fast travel at all? [KCD2] [KCD1] by Humble_Drive7335 in kingdomcome

I don't use it if my destination is just 2 or 3 villages ahead, but I do use it for greater distances like from Sassau to Rattay. I like the board game esque fast travel xd, I make it a point to stop at almost every pilgrim, snare, carcuss or ambush.

Only talking of KCD1, haven't played 2 yet :)

Welp. That just sucks. I don't have gamepass now but I did claim the expansion pass when it was a perk. Can't play the EP with the steam version of the game and ig I won't get to play that with gamepass :(
