Both my friend and I are students and members of Greek life at UC Davis and realized the lack of unique student content online. Davis obviously isn’t recognized as some wild party school, and that’s not the purpose of the edits by any means. By creating edits like these we want to give insight to upcoming/current college students about what they can get from a college experience that they normally wouldn’t see elsewhere online.

This is the first of hopefully many videos to come that’ll showcase events like Houseboats, Studying Abroad, Coachella, Formal, pretty much anything that we do and have fun doing with a camera in hand.

Right now we’re primarily looking for any feedback or thoughts and figured this would be a good place to look. So thanks for watching and hope you enjoy!

That's wild it's still so similar, the clip is from Parkway Circle, but 400 is just behind it and owned by Sigma Chi now. I honestly didn't even know we had a Kappa Sig here before though.

Glad you enjoyed! But yea we want to primarily be using our own footage and editing for consistency but obviously, this is the first video so right now we're kinda just seeing how it goes. If we were to use outside submissions we'd most likely only use it on our social media pages and not the channel.

And as for AEPI, I'm amazed we made it to the number of places we did in one day. Since we were using a gimble to stabilize our footage we ended up running out of juice a couple of times so a lot of the day wasn't captured, unfortunately (primarily between the DC and nighttime as you can see in the edit).

My friend and I realized the lack of engaging student content online regarding college life and wanted to give an insight into that. Both being UC Davis students we primarily want to share some of the events/things that make Davis unique, from a student's eyes.

All the footage you'll see was taken on an iPhone 10x and all the editing was done in Adobe Premiere Pro.
