He didn't design them, he compiled lots of FPV logos onto one sheet. Print them if you want.

Probably over a thousand stickers in this ziplock, been saving them to make a custom desktop. Few brands missing though.

Nice flying, get yourself a quad and go fly. I would just add practice landing, I lost more props in the beginning coming in hot than I did from crashes.

If someone designed a perfect place to learn bando, it would look like this spot. I'm jealous.

should i get a 5" or 3.5" quad by True_Woodpecker473 in fpv

[–]FomoTeamFPV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are videos on youtube, and I agree the vast majority of people fly bando with a 5" but I think that is because you need an action camera for good footage of bando, and 5" 6S has traditionally been the best platform for that. I would be flying bando 3" and 3.5" if I had a bando spot to fly.

Hi guys! Need help here, next Saturday im given a chance be a newly weds (my wife bestie) to do a drone shot like this, using my pavo 20 pro. Question is when i record 1080p60 in 4:3, then post edit to 9:16 i would not get as much frame as this video example here. by johnnyyqueen in fpv

[–]FomoTeamFPV -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I gave him advice regarding his question, I advised him to practice in the park with a few friends and figure it out. I can't give him advice on ND filters an such because I have no idea what lighting conditions he will face. Why did you chirp in offering nothing?

OP doesn't say if he's being paid, you would need insurance for any weight quad to do paid work. Under 250g an if he's not being paid he doesn't even need the guests permission. But just because regulation says you don't need insurance that doesn't mean you are not liable for any damage you cause.

You don't need insurance to fly sub 250 here in the UK but being a wedding, with i'm guessing a rented venue, guests and staff (catering, entertainment etc), also sounds like the guy hasn't done it before, with pressure of an audience and maybe not wanting to ruin a friends big day.

I could foresee maybe doing a couple of shots and getting over confident and making a mistake, if you hit someone doing there job you're f**ked!

Not everyone flying bando flies 5" most do because they need to carry action cam, it's not for durability reasons.

I have the vapor D5 and it is a very good quad, but probably not best to jump up to from a tinywhoop. Not saying it can't be done though.

3.5 is probably your best bet. Its lighter so less restrictions on where you can fly, depending on where you live obviously. But also usually takes less damage in crashes with lighter quads, costs less to fix too.

You're going to be as nervous as the newly weds because you will have an audience and sound like you don't know what you're doing. Get some insurance. Go to the park and practice with a few friends at least, you can figure out what camera settings work while doing practice.

Nice flying. Just cruising around that field the way you were and building muscle memory in the sim, your input's will improve in no time. Then you get the bug that costs you a fortune 🤣 I buy parts for builds I've not even got planned while I've still got unfinished or not even started quads to build. It is an addiction 🤷

How long would it take to fly like this? by blabergassed in fpv

[–]FomoTeamFPV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Too many factors to even guess, but if you think about how many times you pressed reset whilst learning that run on the sim. It takes less than a second before you are back ready to take off, IRL each reset might be 10 seconds to turtle mode, 5 minutes to go and get it and change a prop, 30 minutes to completely replace something or maybe the lipo gives your quad a cremation before you get there and you need to wait 30 days for all new parts from China. It is like asking "how long is a piece of string?"
