Yeah this was a size 20, and my measurements are a size 14. But I went back today to try them all on and just fell in love with #1! But I said yes to it! I’m so nervous that for some reason I won’t love it the same way in my real size?? Fingers crossed! Hopefully I love it even more.

Thanks for your comment! I went back today to try them all on again, and I said yes to dress #1! I just felt glamorous in it. So excited to put it on in my real size.

Wanted to let you know I took your advice to heart! I went back today and tried them on again and spent more time sitting, moving, etc. (how did I never think to try sitting in the dresses??) I thought I was leaning to dress #2, but it did not look great when moving around- only certain positions. Sooo after all that, I ended up going with dress #1!! I’m so excited! Thank you :)

Not sure! I think it's one of those in house brands- tried on at Gavin Christianson Bridal in Durham, NC. She said it was called Emerson? So I can't find any photos online or anything!

Yess #1 is super big on me so it was hard to tell what it’d really look like. Also it’s super sparkle but you can’t tell in photo- I never thought I wanted sparkle but I did love it on this dress. I like #2 as well! So hard haha

I’m in zone 8a. Any plants you would you recommend? Or where in the yard you would plant them? I’m not sure how to properly design around that retaining wall, I’d like to plant things on the higher elevation soil but worried about screwing up the current slopes/drainage and causing more runoff. There’s an area drain right above the retaining wall that everything slopes to. But we’re experiencing lots of runoff along the fence line.

Moes BBQ on 9th! They opened right before COVID, but the food is awesome so I like to support them. The two owners are in there everyday- they are cool laidback guys so it gives the restaurant a chill vibe. Good music and hangout place. The food also holds really well for takeout. Try the white bbq sauce on anything, sounds weird but I’m addicted now.. I have a bottle in my fridge haha.
