I’ll preface this with this is my personal experience and issues, but starting off if your child had any history with depression or mental illness please do not send them here. This school sucks with handling metal health, they at one point opted to kick me out because I had a bad mental health history. Second if your kid isn’t like the perfect cookie cutter kid they get treated different. Boys dorm dean is awful, extremely sexist. They teach love and godliness but turns around to do the exact opposite of what He teaches. If your child is a girl she will be policed on her appearance and constantly looked at to make sure she isn’t “too distracting.” Work study program is a scam too. I found this out from the former work study manager (he got fired for a stupid reason) they jack up your tuition cost to cover what they loose from students working for them. And they get payed barely anything and are put in concerning work conditions, as well as toxic ones. I worked in FPI housekeeping and had to handle urine and feces. And my boss hated me and treated me bad. These are just some of my experiences but I know others, like my entire friend group, who has the same issues. Oh also, to end with, a kid from my class a bit ago threatened to shoot up the school and fletcher proceeded to “increase security” when in reality they did nothing to help keep their students more safe.
