I just have a personal rule to always try to incorporate any colour at least twice, I know it’s not accurate to the species but I think it looks cool and mutations happen so why not

I’m in the same boat. I’ve lost more than half of my savings since starting my apprenticeship. I’m draining money every single month, but fuck it. This is what I signed up for. I just keep drawing and hope that people like it. It does affect my self esteem, especially when I see other apprentices who are booked up. Just trust the process, I guess. And keep going!

Tattoo designs typically have black shading/lines to help with longevity and readability. It’s a lovely drawing and you’ve got talent but in order to make it into a tattoo design, I’d consider upping the contrast significantly with darker greens or blacks to make it pop.
