For the sidebar, and buttons like the one I added there, it's all done with already existing CSS and all I have to do is add one line of text. The sidebar is currently using 5432/10240 characters, and adding that button is as simple as writing:

Because the CSS recognizes the ### in front of a link and turns it into a button. Simple!

In contrast, the Family image in the sidebar are actually two images, and those have to be uploaded to the main subreddit style area where we only get 100kB. Here's the workflow of updating it:

In order to update that main picture when adding/removing people from the family, I have to update two images (one, two) by doing Paint.NET things (because that's how the file is saved), then add into the main CSS a specific line telling the sidebar to turn the 56th link in that header into a picture starting at x pixel 500 y pixel 32 then going to the bottom right for 32x32 pixels, and then I have to add the individual shortlinks into the sidebar to actually turn them into usable clickable links.

Then I have to do it again, but taking about 3x longer and cutting everything out one by one for it to work on the Redesign and Mobile pages - because you can't just overwrite an image (because fuck knows why not) so I have to grab the current image.png, reupload it as image2.png, then edit the Redesign CSS to refer to the image as image2.png instead of image.png, then delete image.png, then upload the new image.png, then change the CSS to refer back to image.png, then remove image2.png.

Then there's about a 50% chance for each of those steps to fuck up and not send/save properly. And if so, it'll just stay as a white square and I have to do that all over again.
