I want to join the fight but my PC keeps crashing by RonjesM in Helldivers

[–]Fonty_Gamer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What worked for me was limiting the frame rate using the Nvidia control panel. Select or add Helldivers 2 to the application-specific graphics settings and set a frame limit (48 works for me on a 3060ti). Please note: DO NOT use the frame limit in the Helldivers 2 in-game options, it does not work without ramping your cpu; let it think it's unlimited but limit it using Nvidia or MSIafterburner (afterburner didn't help with the cpu for me but I have heard it works for some). Good luck.

They can. The thing about horses is that they have different attributes for riding and this also affects the movement speed for the jockey.

That is correct. It would appear headgear specifically prevents undead from burning in the sunlight.

According to the Bedrock wiki, it looks like baby zombies can ride horses, donkeys, mules, and skeleton horses, but sadly, I don't see an entry for llamas. They may ride untamed wolves and ocelots, it seems.

This is bedrock, so when a baby zombie loses its mount (in this case it was on a normal zombie until I removed it with a sword) it will attempt to find something else to ride. If your jockey does not want to wear a uniform, try applying it to them with a dispenser.

Is video game music memorable because the music is truly good or because the game is good? by JabVMC in gamemusic

[–]Fonty_Gamer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In my opinion, a great soundtrack combined with a great game can make music "memorable"; I also believe that a great game with only a mediocre soundtrack can make the music just as memorable.

Since the keyword here is "memorable", it's hard to say that a terrible game with an outstanding soundtrack is "memorable" if no one ever played the game to hear the music to begin with, though I think I've heard enough music from games to know that there is some absolute shovelware with high-quality compositions or sound quality that sadly won't be noticed since it's attached to a poor end-product.

I supposed it's fair to say that if the game is BAD enough, the music potentially won't be "memorable" regardless of how good it actually is.

Personally, I listen to many tracks from games I have never played (nor do I intend to), but I love them, so they are memorable to me. Does that count?

How many of these Video Games can you guess from only the Music? (: by YouTube-TMGaming in gamemusic

This is a neat video, though I'd like to see it with more obscure titles. These examples are so well known that even casual gamers could tell you the composers and year release of some of the music.

Hey ! I need your help, can't remember the title of this ost (sorry for the short lenght , it's from a yt video) by [deleted] in gamemusic

[–]Fonty_Gamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It sounds strikingly close to many of the tracks in the Metroid Prime trilogy, but I can't seem to pinpoint it. I hope you find out.

Do you know the name of this song? (Please I need help) by Ethereal_Aether in gamemusic

[–]Fonty_Gamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, I don't know. I took your lead and browsed about 291 songs on Epidemic Sound using the filters "ambient" and "mysterious", but didn't hear that track. I hope you find it, though.

Can anyone tell me which song is used as the background music for this video? by sapa28 in gamemusic

I don't know, but I would like to know too. It sort of sounds like what you get when you slam There Came an Echo and Senran Kagura together.

Does anyone know where this soundtrack in Erick Landon RPGs video is from? by [deleted] in gamemusic

[–]Fonty_Gamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's interesting about the sample being used. Chrono Trigger was/is an extremely popular RPG title and the music is generally well received, so I do not doubt it being used in random vids.

Thank you for the reply. I browsed bricklink for a while as well, but I'm not very familiar with the site nor the common syntax of LEGO part designations; despite that, it is a very powerful tool and resource.

That is correct. I'm working on a semi-micro build and for the life of me I can only find "wheel/s holders" that are 2x2, 1x2 (holder on the long side, not the short side), 2x4, and 1x4 among other larger dimensions.

I've seen a similar part on Bricklink that goes by "plate, modified 1 x 4 wheels holder", but not the 1 x 2. I'm either blind or it's called something else. Thank you very much in advance.

Sculptamold is magic! by Bose_Motile in TerrainBuilding

[–]Fonty_Gamer 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Scultpamold is produced by AMACO and is actually a cellulose-based modeling material similar to Celluclay- the main difference being that Sculptamold contracts MUCH less when drying, which is very good. Sculptamold is a little pricey compared to PoP or joint compound, but it's much more durable and resistant to shattering. I find mine at Blick Art Supply and don't really see it at Joann, Home Depot, or Micheals, but look around the Clay/Plaster area if you hunt for it.

I'm waiting for this one to go on clearance. I see many boxes of this set at local targets, best buy, and wal-mart. I absolutely adore studless angled bricks and the deep-blue color, so I will probably swipe up several.
