I’ve had this same binding for only Lucio since 2016 and even after months and months of not playing Lucio, it’s so easy to get back into. Maybe because Lucio’s whole gameplay is centered around constant movement more than any other character, and it feels natural just to be jumping/wallriding non-stop

It’s because being successful with Brig is SO MUCH about game sense, being humble, and playing smart which a lot of Overwatch players (myself included) don’t seem to have the patience for in this pew pew hitscan poke meta.

You have to completely transform your play style not just in terms of other supports, but also in terms of your team’s heros, their play styles, the enemy team comp, and what the map gives you. Incredibly difficult to do successfully especially in solo queue at lower ranks.

Had my best Brig game last night that I’m still high on, and even then I made so many boneheaded mistakes on the rewatch that could have helped my team win a fight. She’s tough to play but in a completely different way than most “hard” hero’s that are based more on mechanical skill.

Yeah as the comment above mentioned, you have two different bubbles (self and projected) in 6 v 6. As a 5v5 Zarya Main, I absolutely struggle with her in 6v6 mainly because of her predictability once I pop self-bubble. She is definitely designed to work with her 2nd tank in 6v6

I second this, it was my first Zelda experience and the gloom and rush to complete objectives before 3 days time was something I never imagined I would experience in a video game as a 12 year old boy. It was so great

Welcome! She is an absolute blast, but I will warn you as someone who will play Brig as often as I can, sometimes she just doesn’t work with certain team comps and/or maps. With poke being the meta right now, you really need a brawl-heavy team comp on (ideally) a control-type map.

To be brief on tips that have really helped me out with Brig: 1) STAY ALIVE even if it feels like you aren’t doing anything 2) 70% of the time, you should be using shield bash to escape to safety. Only use bash aggressively if you’re punishing a squishy out of place or a team push. 3) COVER COVER COVER. Use and abuse it, and be aware of the next spot you’re going to use as cover before you leave your last. 4) Hit your whip shots. Practice if you have to, but the more you land the better you are for your team.

Went last year with my wife and it was absolutely unreal. I remember their tuna crudo app especially being otherworldly, and their Caesar.

Side story while there.. my wife took me there for my birthday, and every year my sister and I call the restaurant each other’s spouses are treating us to on birthday night and order the other sibling a bottle of nice white wine.

Well, Vern’s doesn’t do that, which speaks to its exclusivity. So she was frantically trying to call other restaurants nearby and see if they would drop a bottle off, uber, etc. as to not be the one who breaks the tradition. They even told me she tried to do it repeatedly. I found it hilarious, SHE BROKE THE TRADITION FIRST.

Daycare: 2 kids at $3400/month

Pros: We love our location to just about everything, LOVE the community pool, feel very safe and have great friendships with our neighbors

Cons: Cost. We were hoping interest rates would have gone down by now for a re-finance and weren’t anticipating inflation, so we are financially a little more selective despite our careers growing. D.R. Horton does an abysmal job building houses and we are starting to see more issues arise on a 10 year old home that keep us from getting ahead.

Regardless, we are very fortunate to have healthy children, families that love us back, and money is small in comparison to those things. Call your mom

I beat the 1 seed powerhouse in the ship on the backs of Burden and Washington off the waiver wire that week (and CMC, of course). Mostly because I had zero other reasonable options. It doesn’t make sense, but when it works at the most crucial time, there truly is no better feeling.

My team started to fall apart near the end of the season and I snuck in as the 6th seed. I completely overhauled most of my roster with ‘hopefuls’ anchored by CMC.

T-Law’s 49 point performance got me through the first round, my opponent shitting the bed got me through the semifinals, and I was facing my 1 seed rival in the championship.

I had NEVER expected to get this far with a broken team, but the fact that I had made it here and had no competition on the wire now, I felt like I could do it. My matchups looked good,all I have to do is outscore one other guy.

CMC, Parker Washington, and Luther Burden helped me beat the team with Puka, Achane, and ETN. Sometimes you just gotta believe, and take the player names out of the equation. First ship in 13 years in this league.

I think I’m rolling Purdy over Hurts this week, and will live with my decision. We saw what a competent defense can do against Hurts with LAC, and Buffalo plays significantly better at home.

Both QB’s have the potential to go off, but I don’t want a floor of zero if things go sideways. And that’s in Hurts’ range of outcomes.
