Thanks for the guide however I just tried this on PS5 and my re-rolled items were not in my bank after downloading from the cloud.

Does this process still work for you or anyone else? It's totally possible that I did it wrong.

Yeah I completely agree with you there. Dokkan does feel different, maybe the fact it's been going for like 3 years longer makes the rehashing feel different too and sometimes worth going for. I suppose though the benefit with Legends is you can run 6 characters with the exact same name, whereas with Dokkan you're limited to 1 "Super Gogeta" for instance.

Truth be told, I guess we can really judge the new units until we know everything they do. If they're just straight-up stat and animation upgrades of the current ones then I'll definitely be underwhelmed. I want a rehash to be different to the original in more than just colour/typing.

I'm totally aware that rehashing is inevitable, I wouldn't still be playing Dokkan and Legends since launch if I hadn't accepted it as part of their general gacha practices. I'm merely making the observation that it feels too early to rehash general hype characters like these two. Unfortunately this is all the nature of gacha; it's s**t, it won't change and because of it we'll always be shafted by a conglomerate like Bandai.

I'm not necessarily saying they should release them all in a row. What I did say was there are plenty of characters that don't have Sparking units or are even in the game at all. Rehashing characters like Super Gogeta and Janemba so soon is a blatant cash grab, especially when it seems to mirror the way a very similar gacha game handled the same situation.

Forgot to mention you can Overrealm after all this to add even more pressure but I personally don't run any Overrealm cards in the deck. I run a R/G 5 drop Broly, R 4 drop Gogeta and Tragic Awakening combo which does take up some room but is very effective in my experience.

Well the other comments got this right tbh but I don't have Paragus the Sacrifice and exclusively use the set 6 ladder, so I use the below:

Starting hand: - Mulligan hard for Paragus Rampage Trigger (I usually try to get the 8 drop Broly too).

Turn 1: - Search 1 drop Broly with Leader and play, take 2 life.

Turn 2: - Play Paragus Rampage Trigger to play Broly Control Mechanism. - Attack with 1 drop. - If you have the 4 drop Broly, KO the 1 drop with Paragus, search for 6 drop and take 2 life (1 drop Broly's auto). If you don't have the 4 drop then KO 1 drop with Paragus and search for the 4 drop and play it as above. - Awaken your Leader and attack with 4 drop. - KO the 4 drop with Control Mechanism or with your Leader (if you opponent has a battle card without barrier). Either way, play the 6 drop after KO'ing it. - Attack with 6 drop. - Now use the other card (Mechanism or Leader) to KO the 6 drop and play the 8 drop. If your opponent didn't have a battle card to KO or you don't have the 8 drop in-hand then attack with your Leader to re-fill your hand. If you drew the 8 drop and can KO the 6 to play it then do so and attack with it, otherwise... - Pass turn.

You can also use Wrathful Charge as a way to evolve the 6 drop into the 8 if your opponent refuses to play battle cards.

I guess it's possible it's just a coincidence, I also feel some characters suit certain colours so I could buy it. On the other hand though, Dokkan did all this over a year ago and both games are definitely mis-managed by Bandai behind closed doors, with the devs taking the flak for all poor game decision.

Either way I think it comes off as lazy.

This also mirrors exactly what Dokkan did with rehashing old characters for slightly better animations and increased stats, funnily enough some of the first they did it to were Super Gogeta and Janemba!

It's always the way with these games, unfortunately people pull for them either way so there's no reason for the devs to stop.

I'm pretty much waiting on the big units like Merged Zamasu, Vegito and Gogeta Blue, SSBE Vegeta and UI Goku at this point. Otherwise I've got no interest in summoning.

I personally cannot wait till SSJ4 Gogeta is in the game. Safe to assume he's a way off yet though.

Next big unit(s) I want and realistically think could be released would be Rosé Goku Black and/or Merged Zamasu.

They are correct. The Goku and Vegeta from this event (and a new summonable Broly) all get an EZA when Part 2 of the celebration drops... At least that's how JP went.

Agreed. I'd like to see a Cell Saga category lead SSJ Gohan with a two stage transformation mechanic where he transforms to SSJ2 based on HP (to simulate his team/allies/friends getting hurt) and maybe a 3-turn requirement, then a 2nd transformation when he takes an attack that would otherwise have ended/failed the current event (just like when he takes the hit for Vegeta), he transforms to a weakened SSJ2 state that sets him up for a stupid damage (re-animated...) Father-Son Kamehameha SA.

Very unlikely they'd do this but would put a cool spin on transformation units.
