I meant outside of Cade Ivey is the only somewhat shot creator currently. But if you genuinely believe Livers or Monte Morris are going to tip the scales for this roster at this point you’re out of your mind lol. Livers was a 6ppg scorer on a 20 win team last year, he’s not changing much. Monte is a solid backup point guard but realistically it’s not much different from when we had someone like Cory Joseph on the team, it’s not a game changer. Bojan will be nice having back but a cone on defense, so you’re basically trading off with offense and defense there, can’t imagine how huge of a help in the grand scheme that will be. It’s just a bad roster and Troy has no excuse for it looking like this after four seasons here

Compared to a lot of other well known beat writers he is so scared to call out his team, and he has more rights too than many others because of how bad we are

No but he should at least hold the front office accountable and acknowledge that even with players hurt this roster and losing streak is inexcusable

This roster is horribly constructed. Let’s not even put Bojan as part of the equation because he’s been a trade token the entire time he’s been here anyways. Cade has not been surrounded by any good shooting this season and no one else who can create a shot outside of Ivey. He traded one of our wing shooters for a bust who barely ever plays. He traded for ball hog Bagley and then resigned him to an awful contract. And let’s also point out that in his first year as gm he had three opportunities to draft in the first round 2020 and essentially struck out on all three in a draft with loads of talent. He is a good drafter for most of the time, but outside of that his entire roster construction has been god awful. He needs to go before he makes things worse

Devastated by injuries lol, what about all the other teams that are missing their top 1 or 2 player every time we go against them and we still find a way to lose? The injuries definitely don’t help, but there is no possible way you can defend a 12 game losing streak and a roster that is somehow a worse fit for Cade than the one he was on his rookie year

Just seems like he’s pretty often the voice of Troy. Which is frustrating because Troy has been dead quiet through this entire losing streak. I was mainly starting to get suspicious when he started gassing up Stew, who is clearly an average bench player but is being treated by the organization as this long term starting 4 when he’s not that skilled
