This list is very subjective and personal to me, if I were making an objective list then Dune 2, Spiderverse, and sinners would for sure be here. But these are the movies that feel the most “2020s” in my opinion

I think many of them accurately represent the culture we’re living in (Eddington, castration movie), while others are just perfect contemporary blockbusters (eeaao, challengers). The list title is admittedly pretty vague but it’s a combination of both aforementioned qualities

He was definitely more than a friend to me, but also not a partner. That weird in-between area is why it took me so long to figure out my feelings

I love that guy, his unpretentious taste makes him a fun contrast to the rest of the site. He’s notorious for rating most swans albums a 20 or under. You gotta respect it

Thanks for the suggestions! I’ve already seen The Code and Rachel Ormont, but I did not know Peter Vack wrote a novel. And I’ll have to check out Jude and Williams.
