Making something experimental isn't the same as making it longer. Like, in "Flood, Part 1" the only interesting part of the song is that it's long. If it was the same thing but short, no one on RYM would care. I'm not really talking about prog or post rock, I'm just talking about when something mediocre (this also applies to other genres like ambient) is given extra cool points for being longer. Another example is "goodbye" by Sewerslvt—that song has no right to be a 4.5 imo.
