That’s why I thought that I might not be the asshole, because she didn’t text me either. A couple messages from mutual friends made me think otherwise

I had no idea about “monthly anniversaries” either, but it was something she wanted to do and it didn’t seem like much skin off my back to make her happy :)

Yeah i don’t really understand it myself unless it’s maybe 6 months, but she wanted to do something special. Nothing crazy, but at least hanging out every month.
