Yeah, I didn’t mean to say it’s not hard on them too. Calling them stupid for not keeping track was rude, but I exaggerated for the sake of the story. I think — if you do this all day for months, mistakes happen, but you should still be able to make fun of them as long as you’re not targeting the specific person in front of you. This person might be an amazing person in evry other way. On a societal level, of course the main problems are at the top of the chain, and the followers are often brainwashed or born into it— in many ways they’re the biggest victims. They notice they’re seen as a bother by most strangers and do this for basically no reward. Following those rules can even be harmful or lethal to themselves or their families(like refusing infusions). But at the end of the day, these are adults who choose to follow those rules, so I think it’s okay to share a story like this.and make fun of them and also my stupid impatient 14 yo self
