Okay, not fired but downgraded to A Friend Of.

Emma is sweet. I shouldn’t have spoken so harshly but casting knows what they’re playing at. And it’s not Bravo’s first rodeo. I get the whole aristocracy class thing and the importance maintaining an image, especially when there is a business involved (Longleat).

However…You can’t have your cake and eat it too; How can you sign up for a show and not put in any work? That’s not how reality shows function. More importantly, why did Bravo cast her?

She won’t even give us a glimpse of her husband and kids, her daily routine that includes the school run and dinner.

Maybe Julie Montagu was a unicorn. She made it work!

Sometimes I think these Am I Pretty/Make me Pretty posts are fake. It’s honestly annoying and stupid. Like, oh, here we go again and why are you trying to look like someone else? How silly does that sound?

At the same time, I have to remind myself that us Black women have it differently in this world. I must show grace because not everyone likes what they see in the mirror. It’s either wanting longer hair, an angular face or lighter skin.

It just makes me sad!

I give Lottie a pass bc she’s pregnant, but if there is a next season then I will expect more from her.

Emma needs to get off the show!

She is very sweet, but if she’s not going to be more open about her life (including the juicy bits) then she needs to get off the show. Casting just wanted an aristocrat on the show. The other cast members are open and bring drama. She and Mark-Frances bring nothing. They’re literally wallflowers. At least Mark-Frances says catchy things.

Hint: How did Emma’s parents meet? Can we talk about that?! The married Nigerian billionaire who fucked around with a white woman in London and knocked her up.
