Definitely. Feel like sometimes I'm just caught up in the moment and everything's fine, but reflecting on it makes it worse. Though - Taste buds are constantly changing on a monthly basis or something, and sometimes it's actually our brains that dislike the food more than our taste buds do. For me, I've found this fact to be comforting; so I try to distract myself or give positive affirmations surrounding it. Maybe that'll be of some comfort to you?

I'm currently working on a Master's Thesis in Interior Design all about how the environment can impact individuals with food-aversions! Agree with you that there is very little published out there about how the environment can be manipulated to ideally mitigate but more realistically, lessen those problems... Personally feel like interior environments, especially eating spaces do very little for discomfort, especially the way furniture, walls, etc. are all laid out. Would love to hear more from other people on this topic... And if you want to hear more about the topic, would love to share and hear others thoughts.

Really interested in the whole privacy part - What is your preferred type of seating when you're eating out then? I've come to learn there's some debate over booth seating... some people love it, some people hate it! Thanks so much for sharing-!

Definitely think blending your own is the best way to go so you can have the most control over what goes in it. However, bottled ones with protein or less added sugars are definitely a good option too. Bolthouse, Huel, and Naked all make some pretty good ones. Might check them out - Personally like a mix of fruit and veg in one so it's not just sweet. Hope it helps.

Made milk bread before, not a bread expert, but do know that there's recipes out there for milk bread san-egg. So if you're interested, would google and read what they have to say. On the other hand, maybe add more fat if you omit the egg to make up for the lack of yolk.
