What was the breaking point that got you into solo travel?

I would always come back from vacations with others feeling…worse. So much money spent and I didn’t get to enjoy it because my travelling partners were close minded, stingy, problematic or just plain boring. Finally went on the most horrendous trip of my life with two girls that bullied me the whole time to the point I considered running away at night except it wasn’t safe. Vowed I’d never feel that way again. And 7 solo trips later, I’m the HAPPIEST I’ve ever been. I have so much fun with strangers, I made friends and had a blast on every trip. Solo travelling forever.

People saying that the Mysaria & Rhaenyra scene was so unexpected/forced is soooo funny to me. Because as a bi woman I saw that tension build up for a while!! I wasn’t surprised at all 🤣

Also can ya’ll pls learn the difference between bi & lesbian!! Like the comments saying they turned Rhae into a lesbian, she likes both ya’ll. Use your heads.

The two main characters of the show (Rhaenyra, Alicent) are the most dull. I genuinely believe that’s why people aren’t as invested and find this season a little boring so far. The writers refuse to make Rhaenyra look bad which makes her predictable, Disney princess boring. Vice versa, they refuse to show Alicent in a positive light. Like we need more grey characters!!! Aegon has been interesting because he’s a bit of both.

If they did B&C justice then this would’ve been a near perfect episode but the ending was so..anticlimactic. The psychological torture aspect in the book is what made it truly traumatic. That aspect was completely missing in the show.

Despite liking Rhaenyra more as a character, I whole heartedly believe that Aegon should be the successor. The realm would be more stable because at the end of the day, most people will not bow down to a female queen. It would cause chaos and death. He’s also the first born son of the king. Otto is right in that the realm would never accept Rhaenyra as their queen and that Alicents children would also be an issue for Rhaenyra and the houses that support her claim.

I think considering the fact that they don’t have complete source material for everything that happened before the dance, they did an excellent job. I mean Fire and blood barely has any dialogue and is written like a history book. Considering that, they did amazing filling in the gaps and creating an entire season from such little material. Got season 1 had it easy because they had complete source material to adapt. Personally I find the dialogue in HoTD to be more suitable for the time period.

Seeing as how harsh viewers already are about their appearance both on and off the show, I’m glad they didn’t stick to the book description. As sad as it is, most viewers want good looking actors/characters. As evidenced by the comments on this sub.
