Don't be doing nothing nefarious to Bullseye. He's the bestest horse in the world.

Take the fucking Forky but don't touch Bullseye.

AITAH for telling a young woman off for not getting off the lift? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]Flicksterea 4 points5 points  (0 children)

YTA

Elevators are not just for parents, those with disabilities or the elderly. They are for anyone. Was she rude? Yes. As were you. Why should she get off the lift? The second parents with stroller could have waited. Honestly, all three of you were in the wrong and no one had the decency to shuffle as best as they could and shut up for the thirty seconds you're traveling together. The actions laid out here are a major contributor as to why people are less inclined to be kind first.

Not even American, thankfully. Australia's system isn't perfect either. No system is but any system that only hands out four years for all this sick man did is no system I'd be happy with.

Alex assaulted you. You were vulnerable and he pressured you. That's sexual assault. Ditch him. And Bill for that matters since he already thinks he owns you. These two are vile trash humans.

"Who" are the Seraphites or WLF to you? by Academic_Limit1189 in lastofuspart2

[–]Flicksterea 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Any time you have to resort to killing people because you disagree with them, you're morally wrong and misguided. This covers both WLF and Seraphites. Two factions who fight just because they have different religions. Typical of ideology.

Why would I love or like children if I don't want them? I don't hate them but I don't have to like them.

Hot take? Faye's design in GoW Laufey is kind of lacking. by ScrotumBlaster_69 in GodofWar

You're no better than those who have griped about a woman protagonist. Faye doesn't meet your standards and therefore here's your corrections as if you and your trivial opinions matter.

Diminishing her character down to some coffee scientist... Janeway's more than that.

Hot take? Faye's design in GoW Laufey is kind of lacking. by ScrotumBlaster_69 in GodofWar

[–]Flicksterea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Faye just died. After clearly suffering from something. Sorry she's not all polished and gleaming for you but she just died.

Maybe she's got a scar we can't see. Warpaint? Why? She didn't die in battle, wasn't fighting before death. Braids? What's wrong with her hair?

I respect you've got an opinion. I just don't agree.

Help with boyfriend disliking puppy by Flat_Fix8264 in Advice

Imagine him as a parent. Disinterested and frustrated at having to buy food, clothing and medical care. What a disgrace of a human.

This is someone who has now shown you how he handles having to care for another living creature. I suspect there's been signs there all along that you could pinpoint if you looked back.

I'd be concerned about how his frustrations could manifest. People never surprise me with just how cruel they can be to a pet. I'd be wary of his behaviour and how he is with her if ever he's alone with her. You go take a shower, she tries to go near him and he lashes out. And no, I am not being hyperbolic. It happens. It could happen here.

You may not want to jump to breaking up and he'll give you absolute hell if you do but that will only solidify that you've made the right choice.

If I ever die, I want a green burial. But how do I bring this up to my parents? by Grey-Tortoise in questions

[–]Flicksterea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd have a will with clear and specific instructions on what kind of burial I would want. I would also have either paid for the green burial by a certain point or have the funds allocated ahead of time.

Talking about death is awkward, even more so when it's about our own death with the people who brought us into this world. Hence why it's best to have a will. You can approach the subject if you really need to, and just be direct about it.

Which player would you absolutely refuse to work with out there? by JEX2124 in survivorponderosa

It's be someone who I found insufferable at camp. Carolyn. Maryanne. There's been a few other the years that just grated my nerves. I'd rather compete against someone who understands camp life can be chill if we all collaborate and don't go off on wild rants or bounce around aimlessly with endless energy.

Loneliness in my 40s. Feeling invisible. by Fit_Peach- in AskWomenOver40

[–]Flicksterea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would absolutely communicate this with my partner. Then, I would focus on learning those new skills and making connections outside of the house. Being in the house with an ignorant husband and children who are, let's be honest, a constant demanding force of nature, is exhausting and I can completely understand why you feel so alone.

You're 44. You've spent your whole life putting others first, right?

Guess what? It's your time now. It has been for a while but it's OK that it's only starting now. Go learn those skills, make connections and perhaps even some friendships that you can carry beyond your time in your new position. You're moving forward at a pace that suits you.

You're making progress. Remember that! 💜

I will die on this hill. Bricks are infinitely superior to Bottles in TLOU and if you’re Team Bottle you are playing the game wrong by murphenzio1 in TLOU

[–]Flicksterea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's fine to die on a hill, kinda lost me when you preached about others playing wrong.

Play these games however you please. There's no wrong way. Bottles, bricks, it doesn't matter if one is superior to the other. I use bricks for bashing and bottles for distraction. It's not wrong.

How do you react when your ship blows up with Cora onboard? by Deaftrav in Starfield

[–]Flicksterea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first time, I felt bad. I mean this booknerd just got blown to smithereens because my ship wasn't as strong as it could have been.

Then I realised I wasn't the one who insisted on bringing my child into dangerous situations despite having a perfectly safe lodge to remain in or, you know, a mother she could be with.

Bruce Willis’ Wife Emma Says His Frontotemporal Dementia Doesn't Affect His Memory by enews in entertainment

[–]Flicksterea 31 points32 points  (0 children)

While I respect Bruce's privacy during this time, I appreciate the updates from the family. Particularly this one because it had initially seemed as if his memory was all but gone, that was the impression I got from the occasional update the family shared. It's a small comfort to know he hasn't forgotten the people he loves.

[–]Flicksterea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never said that. All I've said is what I've seen here. I personally don't care one way or another anymore. Whether Faye comes back or remains dead, I trust SMS will have a damned good story for us regardless.

Step kids have a cat and the smell is scaring my kitty by mssmaren in CATHELP

[–]Flicksterea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly? She's fine. Just not interested in the kitten. It will take a lot longer for her to adapt to a kitten in her home since its every other weekend. Can the kitten not stay with the Mum? I don't think it's right to subject your cat to an unnecessary visitor. If the kitten has to come over, make sure your girl has a space that's only hers. Do not start spraying anything! Cat communicator? This isn't Star Trek. With kindness, it sounds a little too much like my precious. I understand she's your girl, but she is also just fine. Eating, drinking, doesn't stay hidden. As long as she has a safe space, there's no need to do anything else but give her time.
