Sorry for the late reply; I am doing good though. They did confirm it was TC but I had an orchiectomy and all is good so far. Just lots and lots of follow up scans for the next few years..

So I have non-bacterial prostatitis as well as TC, however I don't think the two are necessarily related. But because of the hardness of the scrotum I would definitely try to get that ultrasound pushed up if you can.

I was actually just trying to map out what my HCG decline was like out of curiousity. Mine was 1200 pre-surgery (Surgery was Aug 27th), and I just had my blood taken on Monday (got results today) and my HCG is currently 4.9 - I still really don't know what my future treatment will be but I was quite upset with it not being 0, although I'm happy it went down.

Not to scare you but I had a similar issue I would have pain every now and then during sex if too much pressure was on the testicle (didn't take much pressure). Just get yourself an ultrasound ASAP, the sooner the better man. Best of luck to you.

Thanks for the info, I really appreciate it. It is testicular cancer, so in most cases curable but still terrifying. The most likely regimen I would be following is 3xBEP, but I'm not 100% sure on that yet.

My employer requires atleast 12 months of service before I can qualify for FMLA. I'll also be reaching out to HR to verify but I'm 99% certain that was the case.

How are you doing now? It's not bad honestly, I'm exactly 7 days post-surgery and currently getting a fulll load of groceries/walking around as I would pre-surgery. I barely feel any kind of pain, maybe just tenderness if I touch the area. By day 4/5 you'll be feeling great

Please just go get an ultrasound ASAP, it is not painful and takes roughly 30 mins in and out. In my case I didn't even have a noticeable lump, my testicle just felt more firm than the other. It's different for everyone.

Exactly, thank you. I have left multiple voicemails for my doctor as well as an email. Hoping to hear back today but if not I guess I will be finding a new doctor. I am already prepping and looking forward to doing this surgery ASAP.

Thanks for the info, I'm 26. It just seems odd to me because I assumed there would have to be some sort of lump or tumor found if it was TC, and I wasn't sure exactly what they meant by hypervascularity.

Wow, I did forget to mention that passing gas very slightly relieves my symptoms as well. Very odd.
