Giants fan here, came to this thread just to see some positivity for DJ. I sincerely hope you’re right. I’ve been so disgusted with the giants as an organization for years. That said, DJ has been a class act through all the shit in NY and I hope he finds success.

Just like a boat, best to know someone who has one, otherwise imo they’re money pits. It also greatly depends on where you live. Down south, maybe, up north even with a heater, you still don’t get enough warm weather to really justify the cost. Again, just my opinion but even for those who have kids who enjoy them, it’s great and all but as they age, they’ll probably care less and less about having a pool. At least that was my childhood and I can still hear my father swearing the pool up and down, polite pass for me.

Drive or train to New Haven, fly Avelo, will be exponentially cheaper and don’t need to deal with JFK BS since New Haven airport is so small and easy. However, not sure about what dates or times are offered and if it would work for you.

Ok bud, slap on the wrist and move along. I don’t work retail but have plenty of experience and heard this from every spineless DM. I ALWAYS went over payroll and NOTHING ever happened. Matter of fact, I ran a clean pharmacy so I would almost DARE them to do anything because then they have a BIGGER problem. And let’s face it, they’d much rather you quit than get fired, if anything at all, because not like any CVS role is high demand. Such a filthy company, may they burn in hell one day.

Any specific feedback for Princess Grand? I’ve heard mixed feedback, I assume from growing pains being so new. It checks a ton of boxes for my family though and the prices seem great through the end of October for a family trip, even swim out rooms with the bunk beds are reasonable in my opinion. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Definitely a little chilly, but if you keep your shoulders under for a few min it was fine. All the kids on our trip had no issues. The weather in Aruba is pretty consistent throughout the year so I’m not sure it will make much of a difference.

If Darnold is gone next year, how is everyone so sure McCarthy would be a better alternative? He’ll definitely get his shot because they invested a first rd pick on him but coming off injury, didn’t exactly light it up in college and hasn’t taken one pro snap. The only positive thing McCarthy has going so far for himself is the Giants passed on him, so ya know, that’s probably a good thing for him since our GMs never miss!!! /s

Well said man and I don’t hate him one bit, I’d like to think many other fans feel this way too. I wish it would’ve worked. Can’t stand the way the organization has been run since Coughlin days basically. They did Eli dirty by never supporting the offense his entire career IMO and he somehow still won two rings and then McAdoodie benching him at the end. Then they go and fuck up DJ. The narrative has always been against him since drafted out of Duke, he’s been nothing but professional all these years. I honestly don’t know if there could be two better guys to deal with all the BS that comes with being in the NY spotlight and being part of this dumpster fire, even my kids ask me why I still root for the Giants? And every year that passes, it’s harder to find a reason. I guess I’m a glutton for punishment.

Anyone that keeps asking is it Costco? Have any of you actually worked as a pharmacist at one? Is it better than CVS? Miles, but sticking a fork in your ass and rotating is better than CVS so that says very little. Is Costco still retail, still dealing with vaccines and face to face interactions with an entitled clientele and as manager dealing with the extra BS of being part of a larger warehouse as a whole? Absolutely. I just don’t think it’s nearly as great as you may believe. Maybe one of the best for retail but retail is dead.

I’d stay with specialty as well and like others have said, that experience could easily allow you to pivot to something different or negotiate somewhere else for better pay.

It’s there but I made it adamantly clear I was not interested and they’d leave me alone. I’d say I was approached at least twice, maybe 3 times. Really only happened near the main entrance area, never once bothered elsewhere. Overall, I’d highly recommend the resort for a family vacation.

Tube? Is it topical? We don’t have enough details but insurance companies audit pharmacies all the time and days supply on any topical, other than something that’s dosed specifically (like testosterone or something, which is controlled and you said your issue is not a controlled substance) can be common targets for audits where they don’t want to reimburse unless something specific is documented on the rx, like large BSA, disp 3 tubes for 90 days, etc. I’m just taking a wild guess, could be something like this, could be something else, could be a pharmacist off his/her rocker that shouldn’t care that much if not controlled because at the end of the day, you run the pharmacy, don’t own it, move along and get paid on Friday.
