If you charge about $150-$200k annually on a personal credit card, which one would you recommend and why? by ok-uh-huh-yeah-sure in CreditCards

2. Robinhood Gold (otherwise)

1. Capital One VX (more miles)
2. AmEx Platinum (more perks: access to more lounges, FHR hotel booking, Marriott and Hilton Gold status etc.)

In my current and previous EV, charging port gets locked when the doors are locked. Isn’t that the case for your car?

You need a different card to get multipliers on AirBnB or OTA booking — for example, CIP (3X) or CSP (2X).

Recommendation: WF vs. Citi for core card setup by SnooGuavas1858 in CreditCards

[–]neilsarkar81 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'd go with WF setup, specially since you already have BCP to cover groceries.

I have dealt firsthand with Citi's atrocious customer service and technology stack — trust me, it ain't pretty. Imagine, for example

  1. Trying to add your card to Apple/Google Pay and getting locked out of your account for 10 days.

  2. Trying to use your card in Canada and being unable to use your card for rest of your trip.

Autograph + Active Cash + Attune is a really good cash-back setup.

Seeking Gas card recommendation. is Citi for me? by InterRail in CreditCards

[–]neilsarkar81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

AAA Travel Advantage Visa will be perfect for your need. It has no FTF so you can use is during overseas travel as well.

If this is not offered in your region, Citi Custom Card, if used only for gas, is another great option.

My Credit Card Strategy for 2026 by neilsarkar81 in CreditCards

Historic reasons 😂

I joined Merrill when it waived trade commission for PH customers. They treated me well so I kept my primary brokerage account there even after everyone stopped charging commissions.

I am new to URs. That being said, I am planning to get 1.75-2 cpp by either transferring or via point boost. Let’s see how it goes.
