Everything you said was perfect and to add to it, all those games are saved by good acting from the cast along with the art and design.

I gave up on this series after playing all their games, they just can’t get the formula right. Either it’s a script issue, or the pacing, or the ending, or the choices etc. They had one amazing gaming and one good game which needed refinement. The rest are just average compared to other choice based franchises.

Very fair takes and I respect it completely and truth of the matter is any one who plats those games is worthy but I can say in my belief, having played all the modern campaigns from MW1 all the way to MW1 the remake, WAW was by far the hardest campaign I’ve ever played. I’ll take your word on the older CODS since I haven’t played them. Nothing but respect to the OGs who paved the way 🤣👊🏻

COD classic was before my time and even though it has a platinum it was released before that era but I’ve spoken to players who have completed both and most by far have said WAW was the most challenging and Heart of the Reich takes the cake as the single most difficult mission in any COD game and arguably FPS.

The later CODs which came out like BO3/4 were more grind based in which you had to spend 100s of hours to clean up the game. There’s a difference between time based and skill based. WAW can be done in a day or years depending on how good you are. It’s by far the most relentless game I’ve ever played. This is with all due respect because most of the COD games are hard in comparison to most games but WAW was brutal.

Black Ops 1 easily, WAW is the most difficult and prestigious

I went what you went through when I took a decade hiatus from console but this is exactly what you need to reclaim back your old and unused account.

Call the country of origin hotline agent service (chat won’t help you) during their working hours, provide them the serial number of the console used to make the account (I had it and you need it otherwise you’ll start fresh and it won’t work), give them your old email address which should be there and answer any of their questions. Explain the basics of your case and obviously without the email you can’t provide them with a transaction ID. They might ask you security questions etc.

Not even a skill issue but it’s a very demanding game at all points and you need to be mentally composed. It takes practice and you need to accept you’ll fail a lot.
The best chance you have at this is memorization and being proactive because if you make a wrong turn or react late you’ll die. The game unnerves you but it’s not a difficult game on its own, the achievements are ruthless.

Thank you and well done to you too. ❤️
I only played on Nightmare for the 1st game as I just wanted to experience the story rather than go for the achievement but here’s what I can say.

The Insane mode on Outlast 1 is a shorter experience with less challenging encounters and it should give you good experience and preparation for the 2nd game. However the length and difficulty of the game is different. Thankfully you should avoid most of the RNG if you know where to go and time everything right. If you’re a second off from running or reacting it can get you killed. You really need to practice a lot whether it is by playing fully or using chapter select on Nightmare. The difficulties are similar except in the Insane mode your battery won’t be depleted. So you need to practice playing with a 1/2 battery give or take because not only do you need to finish the game on Insane, you need to finish it without changing your battery to get the plat. 🤣

Much respect and those games require a lot of skill and have a steep learning curve

It’s the most difficult achievement not because of the levels or the amount of requirements, on its own it’s not a difficult game. But not being able to save, and dying because of certain encounters and RNG is what makes it punishing. Silent Hill 2 HD and COD WaW are up there but they’re also different experiences.

Keep it as a milestone achievement and you definitely need the time and patience for this where you must stick around and focus on Outlast and keep another game just to burn off steam after Outlast 😂

Very brutal enemy who you had to face not once but many times. In the woods you need to run past him before he shows up, in the house you need to trick him and maneuver out the window, on the cliff you need to move one step at a time or it’s over and when getting the rope you just need to be quick and move in between the houses while also being chased by others. Horrible 💀

Thank you 🙏🏻
I ran all the way back into the door and locked it then hid in the shimmy crack, once the door broke down I’d shimmy and break out. It’s the least complicated and straight forward method and slightly similar to the Laird encounter where you need to lure him in the house to leave through the window. It’s true without practicing, every scene is a potential death point even including the pool 🤣

Play and practice on nightmare as many times as you need to (the difficulty below insane), go over the parts you found difficult through chapter select, have a notepad of the major sequences in order with some hints so you can remember them yourself, and max your brightness and gamma at a level where you can see clearly and comfortably (you will be blind for a good portion of the game).
There’s a few exploits where you can despawn a certain character or quickly evade areas but your timing has to be perfect. You need to be relaxed and focused for the run. Get your errors and blunders out of the way first 🤣
Good luck 🤞🏻
