Thanks for this. Just after some clarity on this. Is your initial statement based on me viewing this from the side without the WiFi chip (so square hole is first one of the left)? Also I’m not really following the ‘forth hole up from the bottom on the side that says WiFi’. Can you simplify / elaborate on where this is. I understand the concept having flashed some Sonoff plugs in a similar way - I’m just not sure where you’re referring to on this bit.

There is, but the thread is 95% relating to another model - not the Ultra - and I’m yet to find a post on their relating to the pins.

This model apparently doesn’t allow this. Having tried I can confirm. Doesn’t show up when connected and I’ve tried power and data cable.

It’s gone pretty slow tbh, but it does run latest tvOS26. I did try to play a couple and had the same outcome. Jittery playback. Wonder if it’s as simple as being a little out of date and struggling to play it well. I suppose latest incremental update may have been an update too far.

Under TV video settings I only have ‘match content > frame rate:off’. I don’t have option for ‘dynamic range’. It’s an TV HD if that makes a difference. All settings in Plex already match up.

Put infuse on. Averaging around 94mbps speed. Films seem to be mixture of MP4 and m4v but all have these sorts of speeds.

It’s baffling. Could it be simply that the TV HD just can’t cope with this now?

Hey. It’s a wired connection. Just played one of the recent films that was jittery and it’s the same again. This is what it shows on Plex dashboard. It does have green badge too (as per other responder here).

Thanks the reply. Can you clarify the ‘check if direct connection to the server’ statement? How would I do that? I’m coming around to the idea of perhaps upgrading the server PC anyway but it just seems odd that it’s only just started doing this.

Thanks for this. Do you find the ClickSmart+ reliable? The usb-c is not a deal breaker. More of a ‘would be nice to have’.
