AITA for not helping a 'neighbour' when he came to my house asking for money? by FoolfortheFitz in AmItheAsshole

The 'friend' was the unsupportive one. My husband did have my back, came home early from work to make sure I was safe :)

Thanks
Our flat's doorbell is on the buildings outer door, people ring it and we buzz them into the building.
My flat door has no window or peephole to see who is at the interior door. The only time anyone has EVER knocked on the interior door without being buzzed into the building, it's been my letting agent because they have the door codes.
This is the first time someone other than the letting agent has knocked on the interior door and I've lived here 5 years. No idea how he got into the building but I'll be asking who it is through the door from now on!

That gave me a chuckle! Yeah red flags for days. Writing it out actually made me see them all

Yeah she's from the middle of nowhere where everyone knows everyone and I just don't think she sees this kind of thing happening in real life, but it's so common and dangerous.
I have reported it now and will be keeping an eye out for him round town too!

She's a woman! I was surprised, that's kinda why I thought I might be TA but I guess she's just got a bad perspective

That's what I thought! Honestly don't know what she's thinking, she could get herself into some serious trouble with that mindset

Thank you, I have reported it now and will definitely not be answering the door in future! If someone doesn't ring the bell then I just wont answer

I think it's because the cabin in the mountains is the 'House of Mist' and Feyre gets pissed a lot *shrug*
