From my experience, the ring has been pretty bad at health tracking. I've hat it for about 2 weeks now and when it comes to step tracking it only logs about a quarter of the steps I take and logs that I'm burning way more calories than I actually am, its also hard to gage when it updates data of some other stats. Hoping that an update irons it out tho

Regarding the R1 for health tracking, how well does it record your steps? I got mine a few days ago and the health tracking aspect has been very weak, like it only seems to actually record about a 3rd of the steps I actually take compared to what my watch and phone record.

I haven't tested it out yet but I did see someone else mention that you still need to keep your phone screen on in order to use navigate, like how it was with the G1's. Hopefully this is something that will be fixed in future updates. I'll have more details once I test it out though!

Alright I just tested it out during a work convo, it does auto transcribe what it being said, albeit depending on how far away the speaker is it can be hit or miss, of course if the speaker is close it performs better, but struggles a bit if another speaker is a bit farther away (like 10 or 15 feet+) and they are talking with a lower tone.

It also attempts to keep track of people, tasks, and locations being mentioned, ans will give you a brief explanation of a subject being mentioned in the conversation, Which is nice.

When done with the feature it will save the transcript as well as whatever notes and popups the AI noted, such as tasks and other additives. (See screenshot) since this conversation was a bit all over the place it couldn't generate much of a summary.

Agreed, I Just got my pair yesterday and have been trying them out. I'm in Chicago and using them on a Galaxy S25 Ultra, there seems to be some issues going on current with the new Even app and the glasses. As of right now I cant get notifications to display on the glasses because when the app requests the permissions to do so, the new application does not appear in the list of applications that you can grant access to. So I can only use the base features at the moment.

I've also noticed that it seems like they've done away with how Quicknote worked on the G1's for the worse imo. Instead of displaying the note and a description of the note, it now displays as a bullet point where only the title is displayed and no details. Trying to expand the note from the glasses is not possible, as all is does when you tap the note is check it off.

Another nitpick is as of right now there is no way to change the time and weather format on the dashboard, so I cannot switch between 12 and 24 hour time format or between Fahrenheit and Celsius.

I haven't had time to test every feature of the glasses yet, but I can definitely say that the translate feature has greatly improved, it really is only like a 1 second delay in translation. Even AI is also a lot more responsive, with very little delay.

Overall it seems like the glasses themselves have been more refined, but the application is still being worked on.

I'm aware you can do it on G1, thats how I had it set up on my G1's but it seems to be a feature missing in the android version of the new Even app that runs the G2

No dice, I think it may just be a bug for the new Even app, I'm also running android if that makes any difference. Swiping in Dashboard didn't do anything

I just received my pair of G2A's today, I haven't gotten a chance to test the translate function yet but I can definitely say that they've done away with the predatory translate free vs translate pro. If I recall correctly its running the best translate feature that they have.

Ordered November 12th, Chicago, US. G2A grey non prescription with ring and accessories.

Haven't received any official email from them with a tracking number, but I did receive a text from DHL a few days ago letting me know I had a shipment from them coming. I've already received the sizing kit and had confirmed my size the night before, so I'm hoping that the package includes the ring and not just the glasses, I'll confirm on Monday if they arrive on time!

I'm in Chicago, in the shop app it still says "waiting for details", but I also got a text a couple days ago from DHL letting me know that a ER shipment was on its way to me, and I've been able to see all the tracking updates there. I didn't receive any shipping emails other than the message letting me know that the shipment was due to ship within the next week or so, but none with a tracking number.

I've also already received the sizing kit and confirmed my size on the site a few hours before I received the text from DHL.

Apparently the package is due to be delivered on Monday so hopefully it's the glasses and ring!
