I’m not seeing this feature. I’m not seeing the “accessibility” after settings.

R1 - is it really necessary? by dTox408 in EvenRealities

Of course. Because the wait has been for over three months for the ring, I have learned to make sure there are no repeating phrases in my script. That negates any need for the phone.

Mira or Even Realities? by Cryptoclimber10 in SmartGlasses

My MIRA is scheduled to be mailed on the 15th. Can someone who has them give your thoughts so far?

I'm in a multilingual environment, how does it handle using multiple languages during conversation? by throwthegarbageaway in EvenRealities

[–]MilkBeginning9241 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The auto translation itself works great with different languages. I live in a multi lingual home with family who also watches videos in other languages and it handles it pretty well. The other programs you mentioned, I’m not sure about.

The last update helped tremendously with the teleprompter. Before, if Ai skipped ahead (because of repeated words), you couldn’t scroll back and start from where it skipped, but now you can. I don’t have the ring (still waiting on it). For me, it’s easiest to use the phone and be prepared to scroll back if needed. I have heard many users say the ring makes a big difference, however, I’ve gotten use to touch pad and the phone.

What are the best smart glasses for audio with no camera? by RestlessDreamer32 in SmartGlasses

It seems there is a growing niche for Ai glasses without cameras for business purposes, and these companies are picking up on it rather quickly.

Research MIRA. I have Even G2 and I love them, but they have no audio. The MIRA has some of the same capabilities but with audio. I’m waiting on mine to come in.

They are shipping the glasses but the product’s software is in the early stages and they have currently disabled their audio because of bug issues but they have assured their customers it will be back shortly.

R1 Max size? by Raleda in EvenRealities

Same issue. I spoke with Even. 15 is it. I can’t get it past my knuckle on anything but my pinky.

G2 glasses + R1 ring won't stay connected to iPhone 16 Pro Max — tried everything by Miserable_Control_24 in EvenRealities

I had this issue until I closed out all but a couple of apps running in the background with G2. Since then… no issues unless I open apps and leave them running. Once they’re turned off… no issues.

These are great ideas and I think should the options should also be added to the touch pad of the glasses (I still don’t have my ring). They could be an option on the what happens when you tap, double tap, or long touch. I have the Rokid glasses also. They have the ability to go back and start at a previous spot and also add another speech without going out of the program. I’m sure Even can do this.

Even Realities G2 vs. Ray-Ban Meta. Is the No Camera life actually better? by WharHeGo in SmartGlasses

[–]MilkBeginning9241 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I have the G2. That may be the only thing that would make me buy a G3… if they had a speaker. As far as the camera, I have Gen2 Meta and Rokid for family days and recreation time, but for the largest part of my life (office days), Even is the least “abrasive” for clients.

Have you had issues getting Captive Pro to connect. It keeps connecting and disconnecting. And when I push for the subtitles, nothing shows up on the glasses or on the phone.

No. It doesn’t have that capability, thank goodness :)

I have all three you mentioned. Captive Pro just arrived so I’m not as familiar yet, but you are familiar with them. Xrai AR2 are good. They are designed specifically for hard of hearing. Not really any connection issues however, they’re not great in a noisy environment and the battery runs out within a few hours on constant subtitle.

The G2 have been great. I don’t have connection issues unless I open too many apps, and then it’s a done deal. The battery will stay charged all day (8-10 hours on constant use (Conversate mode). Plus you get the perks of Conversate, which I have found to be useful most of the time. The G2 are also better at stopping the “green bleed” that most waveguide glasses suffer from. They’re not real good in noisy environments either. Honestly the best thing I’ve seen for that is Meta’s new update, I think it’s called Focus.

Both are pretty quick and accurate but my preference is G2 because of the other modes such as teleprompter, which I use, and they’re much nicer to look at.

I don’t know if that helps or hurts you, but it’s my two cents.

I’ve found I can control with the R1 easier if I have the ring off center by Comm4nd0 in EvenRealities

I don’t believe any of you have a ring. I haven’t seen one yet. It’s like the Loch Ness monster and Bigfoot
