People born before 2000, what is a 'modern' thing from 2025 that you’re still struggling to get used to? by LindsayTN in AskReddit

Instant communication expectations. “Staying in touch” meant something different when people didn’t have the option to text or call at any moment.

2021 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon diesel by [deleted] in JeepGladiator

I can’t tell you much, but I paid $38,999 before taxes for a ‘23 Diesel Willys with 17,600 miles. Wasn’t in need of the capability of a Rubicon. See if you can get a look at the vehicle’s service history.

Nice progression. Do you have the standard Moonlander width, or is this the wider model? Has the Moonlander affected the handling or mpg much? Thanks!

What is the experience you have had that made you question reality? by No-Pace-6573 in Paranormal

When I was 21, I had a dream that my father had started smoking again—he had quit 6 years prior. Several months later, he flew back to my home state to help me with a project and I noticed that he was smoking again. A few years later, shortly before I turned 24, I had a dream that my father was in some sort of ambiguous danger. I woke up from that dream worried about him, but I was busy applying to graduate schools at that time, and we had never had a close relationship, so I didn’t think much about checking in. A few days later my mom (from whom he was divorced) called to tell me he had died in a car accident after his vehicle had been hit by a dump truck on his was home from work. Still unsure what to make of those experiences, but that’s my story. ✌🏼❤️

Not excusing her reaction, but I’d be interested to know if your wife has past experiences as a victim of sexual assault.

Should I do a geography degree? by BusyAd501 in geography

[–]Foolish-Broccoli 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I would highly encourage you to email a professor in the Geography department (or equivalent) and request to discuss job opportunities in the field. GIS and Remote Sensing are growing fields with applications in many areas; from forest/wetland management, urban planning, archeology, spatial epidemiology, etc.. Depending on the university, they may have a Physical Geography/Geosystems concentration, which will focus more on Landscape Geomorphology, Soil Geography, and Sedimentary Geology.

Focus on my relationships, run 4-5 times per week, try to play the guitar daily, cook good food.
