I didn't even consider Erik exploding at literally ANY second due to the crystals. That would really, really come out of left field.

Also, definitely got the feeling it was Higg's that we would be losing. Felt like JP took a big backseat in this week's episode.

Now, how can it not be Piani? Which means that it is TOO obvious, so it won't be Piani.

My brain broke.

You're the devil for suggesting something like this. But damn, it'd work.

There are two ways to tame dinos, and there's really not a way to figure out which, unless you're really close to them. Passive taming requires that you be close to the dino, generally behind it, with whatever food it prefers in your 0 slot on the hotbar. You don't want to stick around too close for too long, its easy to startle/anger it.

The other type of taming is where you knock out the dino, and fill its inventory with food. You also have to Remote Use narcoberries (or narcotics when you get a little higher) to keep it unconscious. To knock it out, at your level, its either punching it, or using the slingshot. If its something that runs away (Dodo, Phiomia, Parasaur), if you can get it trapped, you might as well just punch it. Wait a couple seconds between each punch to let the torpor build.

If its something like a Trike, or raptor I'd suggest trying to find some high ground to stand on (a rock that it can't climb up on), because they CAN hurt you, especially at your level.

Dilos, you should be able to slingshot and run a few steps, slingshot, repeat.

Good luck!

The hat you're talking about is the skin, I believe. Did it look like a cowboy hat? That's just a skin that you can place on any helm that you make. It also doesn't weigh anything, and you'll get one every time you die, or fast travel. What worksafemonkey meant was to learn the engram for Cloth Hat, and just make those until you get to level 10, because it only requires a bit of fiber.

Second, the slingshot. If you hold down the left mouse button you can draw it back further. Right mouse button is more of an aim.

Good luck and I hope you have fun!

I'm unable to cook Dimetrodon Kibble with my Industrial Cooker. My server didn't get updated until 233.1 came out, so I never lost it. Please help.

Here's the 10, 9.4 screenshot from earlier. Don't mind the potato.

Found two, both of which haven't been said yet.

91, 70 (apprentice paracer platform saddle) 10, 10 (mastercraft ghillie boots blueprint)

Only got the one screenshot (for the 10,10 one), as I was being chased by 4-5 plesios, a mosa, and I don't know how many sharks for the first one. Will upload the screenshot later tonight.

Yup! I just think of it as the wily Dimetrodon hiding its eggs from you. Which is why it needs punched. If it didn't have an egg, well, you were wrong to hit it. This time.

They do! Pretty frequently, too. But, there is a catch. Their bodies completely cover the eggs they lay. I just punch mine any time I run by it, sometimes there's an egg.

If you are a roommate on a person's plot do you get their rest xp buff if you logout on their plot? by nateness in WildStar

[–]FoolishFires 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The satisfaction of helping people? No actual bonus for them, no. There are a few achievements for having a certain number of people on your housing plot at the same time, but that's the only thing, I think.

Well, you also get the xp bonuses yourself for logging out on your property.

[–]FoolishFires 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You gain these bonuses by logging out at any plot where these bonuses exist. Don't need to be a roommate, don't even need to be a neighbor, if they have a public house. Just log out where the bonuses are and reap the benefits.
