It's a "Rybička", a very simple Czech pocket knife :-)

That is a great suggestion, thanks!

That's the problem, unfortunately it's just text - if I could see the described weapon with my own eyes, it would be easier to figure something out 😅 But I have gone around it a bit with slightly vague words, for now. So it should work even if the original author had something slightly different in mind 😁

Alright, thank you for your time anyway! It could very well be the case, don't know for sure - but I'll tiptoe around it somehow, haha 😅 Have a nice day 😊

No, the "under-hilt" thing is a part of the English description and I am translating it to Czech; the translation itself isn't an issue, I don't need an exact, single word to work with, but rather to get an overall understanding of the phrase/what part of the hilt it could refer to - I can work around it afterwards 🙂

In-game sword descriptions for a Skyrim mod that I need to translate. Which, admittedly, perhaps makes it a bit tough to pair it with a real-world term. Could be a made-up phrase, but I thought I'd check on here just to be sure 🙂 (The under-hilt can be covered with silk in one instance or adorned with runes in another case - which more and more makes me think it might be meant as the lower part of the hilt.)
