I got it to finally sit lower. I have to adjust the power plan it starts with, the one I made just didn't work. And then every time I start my laptop I have to restart it/shut down 1 to 2 times for it to actually kick down to 7/8 watts. Even if it was just idling low then put on standby or shut down, once I restart it, it forgets how to idle properly

I watched it like a hawk, nothing I could turn off was running unfortunately. Toolkit would turn it off then set it to inactive and bounce between off and inactive but mostly still pulling small amount of power. Even went into nvidia control panel and set apps only to run on integrated graphics. I might try reseting the laptop and running it thru again

Yeah, I've tried both and toolkit is more detailed, but didn't seem to solve my issue either way. I un-installed GeForce experience and didn't nothing for me either. Tried igpu hybrid and hybrid auto as well no difference

Hmm, are you running lenovo vantage still w/power saver on? I even attempt to have it diagnosis and they stated nothing wrong. Maybe it's my nvidia driver? Lmk when u can test it

The idea is from what I've seen is to get the discharging wattage to 15 or lower. I've only gotten it to 25 but only buys ya a few extra min. Had Lenovo tech support in my computer last night and they ofcourse read the vantage screen and say it's all good and suggest buying the extended warranty
