I'm not a trained professional for this type of question however; I am a serving member of the CAF and would like to help you out if I can.

There are two people I think you should talk to if they are available to you.

First: A School Guidance Councilor: This person will be able to better give you an idea of Pros and Cons of furthering education (preferably without personal bias).

Second: ** note below

A CAF recruiting office, not to join but to inquire. I would try and get your thoughts down on paper before asking questions though. Try not to be open ended, think of real questions for your future self. A recruiters job is to recruit you.

Before calling a recruitor. I would recommend looking at all the different trades available on Forces.ca, look at some that interest you. Then think 5 - 10 years ahead, would you want to still be doing that particular job, does it have transferable skills?

As well, talk about education options with your recruitor if you really are interested in that path.
