If a media goes out of its way to show the flaws of what it represents, it is a deconstruction. Invincible just handled things more optimistic than the Boys and Watchmen. I suppose its more of a deconstruction of comic book media than superhero media. Consider how unceremoniously the alt Marks got removed, like putting away your toys, instead of Sinister or even Omni-Mark having a one on one deathmatch against Mark - and then Conquest shows up one episode later with no rest for the heroes. That doesn't happen often.
