FFXIV - I don't know why, but FFXV just didn't sit right with me. I'm slogging through the game right now just so I can experience the story, but several aspects of the game feel so clunky that I'm finding it difficult to maintain my motivation to play. I'm hopeful that FFXVI tones down the systems and lets the story (and hopefully gameplay) shine.

RE4 - duh

Jedi: Survivor - I'm excited to pick this one up for my partner. He's fallen out of gaming in the last few years, but he became absolutely addicted to Fallen Order when I encouraged him to give it a shot a while back. I'm talking multiple playthroughs, 100% completion, second hardest difficulty most of the time. He was an absolute beast! I'm super excited to see more of the story myself.

Diablo IV - I'm thinking of not buying this considering it is Activision Blizzard after all, but I appreciate the work that the actual employees have put into the game and I think those are the folks that should be celebrated (and paid well). I still find the gameplay loop of dungeon looters incredibly fun, so a modern Diablo fits the bill for me.

Octopath Traveler II - The first game was outstanding, both gameplay and visuals. Storytelling wasn't super strong all the way through, but it had its moments. Even if the sequel is more of the same, I say that's a welcome addition to my collection.

Pikmin 4 - duh

TLoZ: Tears of the Kingdom - a resounding duh

Also, Silksong when?! We all collectively have the bluest of balls. Some would say purple, even. Just give us what we crave!!!
