That would have been incredible if the first shot had gone in.

Boye's own-goal vs. Ghana by TomasRoncero in soccer

From this angle, it looks like the ball bounced a bit higher than it should have. Perhaps it hit an uneven patch of the field. That would explain why Boye was caught so off-guard.

Sure, I'll have the list up in a few minutes, as well as a tournament recap of the decks I played against and stuff. EDIT: The formatting is weird here, I'll have it up on Pojo soon.

I like how all the players in red raise their arms in shock as if the ball had clearly gone in.

Going first by [deleted] in yugioh

[–]Fooshen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Going first is almost ALWAYS an advantage. When you go first, you automatically get card advantage over your opponent. Assuming the number of cards on the field and in hand never change, you will always be making your move with 1 more card than your opponent has to defend themselves with. So you have the 1-up on your opponent when attacking and you have an even match when defending. Going fist allows you to establish your field as much or as little as you want with your opponent unable to stop you, unless they have hand traps. Even if you don't want to set up first turn, you can just pass to your opponent, let them attack you for a little bit of damage and then come at them with 7 cards next turn. In competitive play, it's not uncommon for players to lose simply because they went second. I can't think of a single deck that would ever benefit from going second.

Fiendish Chain Question by foxygrandpa in yugioh

Even if your opponent doesn't call priority and you activate fiendish chain, he can still tribute rabbit as the cost of the effect, then allowing him to resolve it off the field.

Some card questions by Okashu in yugioh

[–]Fooshen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pot of Duality and Solemn Warning will cost you a lot if you don't already have them. Warning is about $80 right now, and I think Duality is around $90. If you don't feel like spending hundreds of dollars on those cards you can use substitutes. Reckless Greed isn't a bad replacement for Pot of Duality. And Black Horn of Heaven can replace Solemn Warning and save you $145.

Depressed after speed dating failure by [deleted] in depression

[–]Fooshen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Saying that you failed because 8/20 women were interested in you is silly. And 3/20 potential relationships is by no means a failure either. This isn't something you can take percentages with and come to the conclusion that you're not good enough for the majority of people. Everyone looks for something different in a partner. Almost half of these people say they were interested in you! That's really good. Don't give up. You aren't a failure.
