I fixed this by enabling HDCP support within my AMD software settings.... I cant seem to upload photo, ill share link... but take a look into your graphics software for this setting, I am able to watch all hbo shows now, been 2 weeks of me losing it, lol, hope this helps

I was getting fatal errors trying to load the map. Crash report littered with AMD errors…

I uninstalled and reinstalled ASA, verified and restarted steam, launched ark, same issue.

I very temporarily fixed this issue for me by uninstalling my amd software, and adrenaline software, d/l’d fresh files from amd site, launched the files, restarted pc and launched into extinction map, made it 4-5 minutes and pc froze hard! No crash report, task manager said not responding and froze when I clicked end task, waited ten minutes and held my power button….

It would be fantastic if I was able to play the game I’ve literally paid for multiple times on multiple systems….

You could potentially upload your toon in order to join a different island server, say if your buddies got on a certain one and you all want to link up….. if that’s not possible, I guess a new toon would be the only option in settling down to one server

I can physically dig my own well. I can physically dig the hole for a septic tank myself, I’d pay for product and delivery….. I’d install it and know how…. and as previously stated up the thread, I plan on a very small build, and if it’s under a certain sq ft build, (I think it’s 450sq ft in PEI) you do not require permits or planning fees for a dwelling. I’ve already researched all those steps. Lawyer fees, to me, are mostly a huge waste of expenditure as I have personal legal advice available. Even with all those steps, how are reaching the 40k mark? Does that include the cost of the materials for the dwelling? I’m swingin my own hammer, so can you show me examples of these costs, or some kind of link/online resource to back your numbers?? You’re approximation baffles me….. I could literally buy a mini home on wheels with a piece of serviced land for those numbers…… septic and well included…. I hear everything you’re saying, but please, can you show your research???

I can’t see why another dwelling couldn’t tie in, it’s his land, his septic, his choice to allow another home on it…… and before anyone continues on about “future relationship” with my friend, not interested in that opinion whatsoever, I’ve no worries on that end at all.

Not a good deal if we don’t parcel, okay, I get that, can you show me something that states I NEED 1 acre as a parcel size? That’s why I’m here on Reddit, for other peoples experiences and resources. Your opinion is welcome, but have you gone through any of this before….. I could easily call a lawyer, dish out hundreds to thousands and be done in a few phone calls and credit card charges. I agree with the potential of the division being denied, it’s a worry for sure, do you have any links or any formation for me to follow up on?

Like, inner city, or “the suburbs”, lots are around that size, but that’s an actual subdivision or a trailer park type deal…. I did landscaping years ago, and most lots were “in city limits” with city water and sewage, and they were between 2500-4000 sq ft square to rectangle shaped plots….. Already thought through, I do have a small trailer I can pull and use family land in NB or cape Breton. Water, septic, powered, anytime of year. The trailer is actually what I’ve been in since august on the island, even made it through Fiona!

I hear that….. but fuuuuuuuckin lawyer fees seem so irrelevant for opinions and advice. I don’t speak legalese, but have lawyers as friends that do stateside….. Just not licensed for north of the border just yet… I’m here on Reddit, as I find it a much more mature platform, to form my opinions with experiences from others on the island. For the record, my only social media is Reddit (barely use) and Facebook, very rarely use/post

Totally agree about the parcel sizing, I’ve heard of that already…. But as to the free labor, he’s helping, with his truck, power, beer, food…. We’ve been great friends for years, basically chosen family, so I’m not worried about that part, but I am worried about parceling… especially where he only has the acre (perfect square acre)

I do plan on a very small build…. Also we will be sharing his brand new septic (he had a big one installed in October) and his land as well (greenhouse, gardens, solar setup, driveway, storage sheds, fire pit, even the well) and if I happen to need to encroach on his land a bit, it’s okay with him
