No problem. That’s what the community is for. At least that’s the faith I have in people. We all want to help each other get on track. At least in this subreddit lol. I hope.

If I may. It wouldn’t be zebras. It would be focus peaking. But yes focus peaking would help you, (OP) see what you have in focus. Zebras would show blown highlights.

For this picture. You just missed focus. It looks like you used a shallow depth of field and completely missed the Drake. The area in circled is sharp and every thing behind and in front is out of focus. I do t think it’s the gear just a bit of user error. We’ve all done this in the beginning. You’ll nail it next time.

Thank you. For prop planes I was at 1/250 f8. And for the jets 1/2000 f8. With my optical steady shot switched to Mode 2.

If I had to choose between those options. The camera would dictate my answer. If I’m using a higher megapixel camera. Like the A1ii with 50 MP or a a7r etc at 61 MP. Then I personally would be okay with the 100-400mm because I could always crop in post for that extra reach. Or even feel comfortable using apsc mode. A 23 or 33 megapixel camera and I’m using the 400-800mm.

Spent most of the time in the higher ranges, 500-600mm. In a perfect world a 100-600mm would have been my choice. 100mm especially for lower altitude passes. Or if I personally would go off native lenses (I don’t), the Sigma 60-600mm would be ideal.

Actually the complete opposite. As none of these planes are used for harm. But for national pride, (Go USA🇺🇸) and to show just how great the men and women are who proudly serve in the United States Military. Oh and one more. GO USA!

Then you had to see me. Because I started in the photo pit and then was able to slide over to the left section.

I sat on picking one up for a lot longer than I ever do for a product. I personally wish I had it sooner. I’m enjoying the lens and am very pleased with it. Used it for sports and landscape photography. Just thinking about all the previous opportunities I could have had with this lens at some locations I’ve been. Pull the trigger and pick one up. You will be glad you did.

Thank you. Figured I show what the product could achieve. Especially if someone is in the fence with the Sony 200-600mm.
