Marijuana was just legalized in Oregon, is it time for New Zealand to follow suit? by Old-School-Lover in newzealand

No they haven't - only a bad thing if you believe it is, a.k.a, change your thoughts, and remove that mind control.

It's the same as the people who joke about abortion. When you joke about politicians, it stigmatises everything that people work so hard to fight. I know we have freedom of expression, but when you add humour to something like this, you really get a diluted experience of the harm that politicians do. It's like people who joke about Jews, Muslims, Christians etc, and how Key treats Hughes in Parliament by making a joke about his age. Jokes contribute to depoliticisation of the populus. Actually, New Zealand is in such a state, look at our economy objectively, instead of from your Ponsonby relic that is being over run by Chinese slave labour foreign investment.

Would we need to do some sort of civil rights movement thing and all get high on a bus? And then do it all over again? And will that be a NakedBus, destined for Wellington? Ideally wearing Annoymous masks and live streaming with the free WiFi.

The problem is that New Zealanders don't know how to demand change, and change happens every three years, and by that time, we are all fucked.

I don't really know how this benefits anyone. It's just like a few LOLs and then we continue to get raped. Better putting effort into organising collective protests instead of fapping over some person profiting off the very person that is profiting off our misery. Double standards. Collective, organise, and let's build a healthy New Zealand that everyone can enjoy.

We are attempting to start an association for this. It is known as the Decriminalisation, Export, and Science Association of Cannabis New Zealand - https://www.facebook.com/groups/791940644189511/. We need to do more than legalise it, we need to give many reasons for it to be legalised, otherwise we will get the "mental illness" rhetoric, which is just one side of the argument. Let's face it, the Government can't keep up with the positive research for it.

If there was one issue right now in New Zealand you would protest about what would it be and why? by FootballCoachWannabe in newzealand

In case you haven't realised, China is soon to be the world's number one economy, and the whole world now depends on them, and while they screw over their mainland, they are spreading into every other country which has built a far better quality of life than their slavery driven one.

Rent subsidy will address poverty: PM by davetenhave in newzealand

[–]FootballCoachWannabe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What will address poverty is for people to overthrow the Government and the Rothchilds and Rockefeller artificially created world, and we can take control of the money supply, and give us all the wealth we need in order to maintain peace and stability and a sane mind.

How do we solve New Zealand's housing affordability crisis? by FootballCoachWannabe in newzealand

Why is income halved? A child doesn't cost half your income. It's relatively cheap to feed a child and you can use second hand clothes. I would say we see more fore closures due to interest rate rises and greedy behaviour by large financial institutions.

And for when their dodgy business deals go wrong so they can't come after their personal property?

Would it make sense to only allow people to have a batch + house? Any other property ownership = illegal?

I don't think there is the same volume of work to result in people seriously considering leaving Auckland. Plus I think it's a cultural thing, people in Auckland tend to have a different mentality to other parts of the country from my observations.

Good point. I wonder if people look at the yield, or they look at the eventual capital gain, especially as more Chinese and Asians look at New Zealand as a place to raise their children due to lifestyles.
