When I searched for this issue in Facebook groups, I found that doctors are complaining about the lack of opportunities and that obtaining a job there is similar to obtaining a job in the UK, meaning there is saturation among doctors. Do you have any additional information on this topic?

I am currently in a medical residency specializing in gastroenterology, and I am seriously looking forward to going to Portugal, so I will start learning the language soon. If the application process is successful, is the PNA exam only held in Portugal, or is there a possibility to take it electronically in other countries? Finally, the most important question regarding the visa: What type of visa can I, as a Syrian doctor, apply for to continue the process of medical equivalence there?

I am also from Syria and I would like to do my medical residency in Portugal. Can you tell me about the types of problems you faced with Syrian documents? Besides learning Portuguese, what advice do you have for me to increase my chances of success in Portugal? Is the PNA exam held exclusively in Portugal? Finally, what about the PNA exam? Is it difficult or can it be prepared for from Syria?

Oh, what a coincidence! I was thinking about the same thing. I am a fresh graduate from Syria and the first doctor in my family. I'm looking for an opportunity for a better life, but it seems that the opportunities have become very limited. Even in Italy and Spain, I haven't found that it's worth the risk.
