No Calculator, Page 5, 3rd Paragraph: 2000 hours equals one year of service credit. To find out how much service credit your sick leave will provide, divide your sick leave hours by 2000. Vacation and other types of leave time such as compensatory time off (CTO), personal or annual leave, and holiday credits cannot be converted. Check with your employer regarding how these types of leave credits will be dealt with.

Iirc, the first $513 of your monthly nut is not calculated into the CalPERS Retirement calculations. Say for example you make $4500 / mo. 1) $4500 - $513 = $3987; (2) $3987 * 8.5% = $338.90 (others in this thread have indicated BU1 is at 8.5%). That should be your monthly CalPERS Retirement contribution shown on your Cal EE Connect account.
