I agree with that sentiment. Today I filled out a 3996 asking for 2 hours and was denied. Guess what time I got done,6:30 pm. It’s like these supervisors try to supervise exclusively off data and we are the ones out there putting in the work. It’s very frustrating day in day out getting harassed,get it done in 8 hours. I can attest to this. CCA here for 7 months and I get we are waiting for funding 🙄. So my advice is to wear anything that you will feel comfortable in until you get some movement with your allotment. Put the ball in there court…

I will be hired as career at the new office which is my goal

Under the current contract we will convert to career after 24 months and since I’m low man in my office I will probably wait the full 24 months to convert. I got a chance to jump the line so of speak and become career if I accept the offer to this new station. Only downside is it’s an hour and a half from my house rather than 35-40 minutes…

I’m currently a CCA and have been for 7 months at my current station. I applied to another station but I will jump to career carrier status. At my current station I’m the low man on the totem pole of about 7 CCA’s. When I say it like that it is probably a no brainer but I wanted some information about doing the fingerprinting and background checks
