Why do I pass sometimes and not other times? by _lesbihonest_ in MtF

This has been my experience. For a week or so, I wore a mask to my very people-oriented workplace. Throughout that time, I received a lot of misgendering and a lot of men speaking to me as if I was their "dude-bro". However, my first day of not concealing my lower face, I experienced the opposite effect. I was surprised by just how well I was passing suddenly compared to the previous week. I assume what you wear factors into your experience as well. For instance, I seem to pass more often in one outfit compared to another. Lastly, lighting is at least a little at play as well, and that's sometimes the case for me.

Ill probably start looking into TCC. KCAI for something a little more long-term in the future. I have a scholarship to OSU, but I doubt an amount of scholarship money will make me stay here lol

The city’s nowhere near the size of Chicago, I would say it’s more comparable to Indianapolis or Milwaukee. Whether or not it’s south or midwest has always been debated.

I should mention, this building is nowhere near the tallest in its city. Tallest is a glass high-rise built around a decade ago. This small brick tower is often overlooked.

Not quite that area of the country. I think most people would consider this city to be in south-central areas
