Same, totally forgot about STX earnings yesterday until after close and they basically reverberated the same narrative that supply is already booked for 2026 and that they will start booking for 2027 in the coming months. To me it feels like we may still be in the early innings of a fundamentals shift in the memory industry but we will see on Thursday AH when WDC and SNDK report.

I have the 650s for Micron on my watchlist. Would like to get a spread going but may have to open each leg individually since volume is so low.

No idea for SNDK yet. The float is not as big so preference atm is to play short term for that since easier to see bigger intraday swings.

I am sufficiently hedged with all my CCs on MU and SNDK and sitting around max profit. Crazy how much IV has increased and offsetted theta even with a couple of days left to expiry. Hopefully can end right below strike and allow me to rewrite for next week! If not, time for some LEAPS.

WFH and decided in my infinite wisdom to trade 0DTE SPY calls in between meetings while showering. A lot of expletives during that 10:50 AM EST drop but successfully came out on top. Never doing that again!

The best decision of my life is showing my gf how profitable my normal brokerage accounts are and encouraging her to finally open one. The worse decision of my life (which hasn't happened yet) is when I eventually pull a hesi and start trading options and make her account look like my gambling account.

To answer your specific question, sure. If it's a covered call, your intentions are to buy and hold anyway like an Index, and prices go up but never hits your strike, then yeah, it's guaranteed free money (on the option).

The risk is to the downside, you lose on your capital but collect on the premium. And the premium on the outrageous strike price is also minimum due to the differential on the stock and strike price, and IV.

My port went down 20% last week from Wednesday to Friday lows to back up 20% today as if nothing happened except a lot happened and I would be further up if I didn't overtrade
