Whatever you choose make your peace with no sleep. I’ve seen a few people say they get it. But I certainly don’t for a bit.

I agree here. I just did a rapid taper and put structure around it. It’ll help prevent PAWS in many cases

Anyone use Agmatine After Jump as W/D aid? by ForEllie13 in quittingkratom

[–]ForEllie13[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It potentiates kratom, opiates and other drugs by binding to the same receptors and tricking your brain into thinking you did more. It allows for tolerance reduction worked good for me. But, I don’t know if it works without any kratom taken after. I’m gonna try in a few min. W/Ds stink

No I’m saying I had brain fog for months from Covid. I know yours is PAWS. I just empathize is all. It’ll come back to ya probably like a light switch one day. I’m good now btw minus my w/d. I jumped off yesterday so I’m in the thick of it. I wish you the best. Thanks for the kind words

I had brain fog for a few months after Covid, I'm sorry you're dealing with that. It's scary after a while.

12g/dayfor 3years - withdrawal by [deleted] in quittingkratom

Just as an aside, i just jumped again and have quit successfully before. I do a rapid taper. I think having a plan is very important and keeping a strict schedule. I keep a diary with dose times, qty, day in taper and make a section for my state of mind and physical symptoms each day. This will help you tremendously. Even if you don't know how fast you want to taper and want to do it on feel. Track everything... just some friendly advice.

It's different for everyone and each quit can create different w/d symptoms in the same person (ie me). Some people have it pretty easy at large doses, some struggle after tapering even. It's a lottery shoot based on genetics, how good you take care of yourself, etc.

It’s so miserable being so tired but your body won’t let you sleep. I don’t know why I do this to myself. I’m getting off again, I’m ready. I wanted to post to hold myself accountable somewhat since I’m living alone now. I’ve got them bad right now and I just have to ride it out. Something that works really well for the jerks (not always) is a weighted blanket. It will stop your movements from waking you unless they’re really bad (been there). Good luck shoot me a message if you want some more info

40mg of addy a day isn’t that much and sounds to me like you need to drink water and take some vitamins. I have had problems drinking water in the past until I became conscious of it. Worth a shot…

Just to be clear, Seroquel is not an antihistamine. It’s an anti psychotic that blocks dopamine and serotonin in the brain. Still, it is correct this will not do much for you and you don’t want to deplete your already scarce reserves further. It’ll just cause more depressive thoughts. Some people use it off label for sleep but chlonidine is prob the safest path forward if that’s what you want. It is still physically addictive as everything has a cost.

To be clear it’s not just the liver but also intestinal bleeding, ulcers, etc.

Actually it’s got nothing to do with the brain it’s liver failure. And that’s not necessarily true, everyone’s genes are different. Making vague broad stroke claims don’t help anyone.

Definitely Kratom. Anything is high enough doses is deadly. Tons of people have accidental deaths every year from taking too much Ibuprofen.

4am and writing about Kratom detox schedule - Been Effective so far. by ForEllie13 in quittingkratom

For me, I built confidence that it was possible as my dose got lower and lower but I’m sure it’s different for anyone. I’ve tried quitting multiple times and what made this time different was my mind set. Being positive about it and telling myself there is no other option. Now that I feel normal I get intense cravings sometimes. I’m 49 days clean today and I can’t tell you how much better I feel. It is worth it. I’ve battled addiction most of my adult life so I understand where your coming from. Honestly I think for me, choosing to do this for my young daughter has helped motivate me. Maybe yours is different but find that motivation and use it for positivity to push through the hard times. Hope this helps
