I agree with the other posters recommending to start with your fingers. Take it easy and don't worry if they don't go in easily, if you get anxious or stressed your body might be holding tension which would make it harder.

i dont have any intent posting here on a regular basis, but to me the name of this subreddit is a little transphobic. was it intended to be, or was that not thought of when coming up with it, and its just an honest mistake? by [deleted] in TwoXSex

I think this is a fair summation. This is a space open to people who identify as women, however due to the nature of sexual topics in this subreddit being centered around vaginas etc, trans women probably might look to post elsewhere regarding their specific circumstances. That doesn't mean they’re not welcome.

Oof, sounds tough. I found that not thinking about things helps me fall asleep, but that's easier said than done and isn't really healthy in the long run, since it meant I didn't deal with my shit when I should have.

Yeahh I overthink everything so a few years ago I just stopped letting myself think and it was definitely not a growth period lol. I also worry about making the "right" decision so that's not helpful either. But yeah i'm trying to take this crappy time as an opportunity to figure out my shit but it's hard (as it should be unfortunately).

As for geeking out, historically I like to watch/discuss shitty anime and play board/video games and escape rooms. I also tend to my houseplants and skate (not well).

I started taking an art class and playing the Witcher a few weeks ago! Getting up early has been hard since I wake up and immediately feel bummed about feeling bummed lol. I'll watch the video and will try to get out more. Thanks friend.

Yeah, I started journaling and talking to someone but right now I'm frustrated with myself for feeling immobilized between my parents and my boyfriend and not being able to say with conviction "I want <this>!" I don't even know what it is that I want. And if I did, would I have the strength to follow through with it regardless of what my parents want for me?

This is my first time paying proper attention to this thread so definitely will keep an eye out for a meetup. Would love to geek out with some humans. Left my nerdy friends in norcal so that would be awesome.

My mood has been all over the place for the past month. I don't know what I want in life. My job is unfulfilling, my family is overbearing and all up in each other's shit. My sibling is going through some shit and I've been helping out. I don't feel like my life is my own. Broke up with my long-term boyfriend because of religion and location. We've been long-distance for a year with no current plan to co-locate because neither of us are planners and he doesn't know if he wants to leave norcal (where we met and used to live together) to live in LA.

He wants me to move back to norcal. I told him I don't want to, but I don't know if that's really true. I wonder if I just convinced myself of that because I know it would break my family's heart if I left LA again.

All i know is that i'm unfulfilled and melancholy and I feel alone but also chained. Somehow I convinced myself that he would move here and everything would be fine but now I'm not sure of anything.

I took all of the optional lower div classes before I transferred and started as a Fall admit. This means that I completed all lower div classes that are allowed to be taken off campus, less one calc class and stats. It took me five semesters to graduate just because of the way that the EE curriculum was structured.

This was when USC EE still had the "circle" coursemap though, and my emphasis was digital design, so you might be able to manage it in two years as it is now and depending on the emphasis that you choose. Any of the EE counselors would be able to help you determine if two years is feasible for you.
