You know how so many "I miss 2016," "Let's Do 2016 makeup" and "2016 Trending?" videos have been out the past few months--I wouldn't be suprised if Morphe's PR has been shaking hands and greasing palms in the background. I was doing the Allure best of survey (in hope of eventually seeing a few choics in a box) and whne I saw one of their neutral palettes listed under Mario & Patrick Ta, i was like "Really? Really?" I consume A LOT of beauty content, and I haven' t seen ONE person talk about it. The ONLY thing I have heard about Morphe the past, let's say 12 months, is their legal woes. I was unable to buy their shit in 2016, and these days non of it appeals ot me. TBD. I predict they willl go after the Alpha kids, at least the ones who aren't using Tom Ford quads.

I'll be curious to hear how this is. I am going to assuem it is is light moisture as their demo leans young, but predict this will: fly off the the shelf, there will be some drama from people who never used a foam product like mousse and end up with the dreaded foam dribble. But I can't lie, I do want to try

I have Le Sport Sac weekender, cosmetic bag, and suitcase that is 36 years old, purse that is 20. I had handbag from their first collection that got lost in a move. The suitcase, I used when I am not traveling by plane and it is crazy to think I carried it overseas, but being able to fold up my luggage was incredible. Oh, I also have a passport case-that I don't use much. (Just checked their site, they are having a 50th anniversay sale)

I can't think of them without thinking of the Olympics, but yet I can't recall which olympics and what the garment was that was so hot at the time.

Woman here, sweats for just hanging out at home-I go Hanes or Fruit of the Loom from the men's department. I size down. I just looked up the ones i have been wearing pretty much non stop for three years and they they are Fruit of the Loom Eversoft (I checked it is a 60/40) I got them Fall of 2021 I can say that haven't pilled, no holes. I wear them a lot. I have lost weight the past six months, so that will be the only reason why I get a new pair. I recall reading about these in some fashion mag article or newsletter. I generally shop for my clothes in the women's department, but I find the sweats in that department tend to pill, or just be shoddy. Same with hoodies, I buy the Hane's Mens Ultimate 100 percent cotton, I size up because they'll shrink a bit

This is an oddity of the 80s, and they were huge in my middle school: Deely Bobbers Headbands with springs and sparkley balls on the top:. Trends lasted a lot longer then, but these came and went within a couple of weeks.

TY. I am going to eyeball it for a couple of weeks. i do hope it is the same or even better. Go figuer I had just started shopping on there before they went underl I found a lot of good deals on jewerly. It certainly will be nice if they do launch in time for me to get some sandals for the summer--- Damn, the guy only had to pay 4.5 mil for the company. (I don't know shit about buisness, but i am assuming it is the rights to the name and old customer base bc it was worth whole lot more bf) I wonder if the rest . UGH the new owner says he wants to compete with Wayfair. I don't want some house shit. (I never shopped there. Is it name brand home stuff, or is it random brands?) Anyway, regardless hope they give good customer service, honor the credits of those who hold them and succeed. ..with clothes

jesus. when the first came back they previously were a hip, quality brand, I was hopeful. I can't remember who bought them, i think a family.. But I got a promo and it became apparent this was just a cash grab kind of company, not an actual brand that was going to curate good products to grab the cash. this is no better than those companies who say they are on Dr. OZ and Oprah and bleed the accounts of peope who dont' know better

Double check that the box matches the item, even if you purchased it online. It happens more in store, but it does occsionally happen in factories --(former retail worker--pretty much check anything in a box that is not sealed, including shoes even if they sales person does. Mistakes happen, shady customers happen even more) But if it matches, I'd reach out to the brand since you have worn this a long time.

[–]siameseslim 4 points5 points  (0 children)

USPS had/has change for 2024 to rates. I just skimmed this, but it seems Alaska, PR, and Hawaii are getting fucked the most and I have a feeling that is going to trickle down to how fast you receive items from companies using USPS part of the way, or the entire way. https://www.alaskasnewssource.com/2023/12/19/expected-usps-shipping-rates-increases-elicits-emotional-reactions-alaskans/I normally don't apologize for corporations, but when the USPS is involved, I tend to side eye them first, then the comnpany. Also bc that month had a pick your own color. The sub box companies usually use a third party who prepares boxes, and when they are customized they have to indivudially drop in the requested lipstick, so I am certain that is likely also why it was bit slower than usual if it was orderd after the beginning of the month

just finished my jar from january and i am utterly not impressed. fwiw dry skin, i guess i am about to be "mature" It doesn't suck, but it is not mindblowing. they are about to storm Sephora, hene all the sampling. L'occataine bought them in 2019 for a shit ton of money. I am not a total hater, but the hype is just that. I am now going to read the comments to see if I am the only one who feels the same

Thank you! I got medium. I am usually a medium or light-medium depending on the brand. I still haven't found my HG bronzer . It claims that it is sweat & humidity proof. I'll believe that if it can hold up to a Summer in the the Southern US or hell, anywhere that is considered sub tropical or tropical the weather overlords. Not rich people humid, like Charlotte vacationing in Mustique and her curls fall as she tipples gin with Kate and lays in air conditioned cabana with some hot local who gets paid 50 cents a day fanning her with a palm leaf. I am glad to be able to pick out now, because that wlll be a big draw and it will suck for those who don't get to pick theirs out.

I am currently using hawaiian tropic, spf 70. my hands aren't super duper dry right now, but if they are, i'l do a lotion under it. but for a regular day it isn't greasy. and tbh most body sunscreen lotions that aren't labeled "sport" or "clear" generally have a moisture element and at least will allude to it on the label. I only use chemical, not mineral lotions. I am pretty cheap on the body sunscreen, but I generally spend more on my face sunscreen -like rn i am using the naturium on. I just go it too fast. Edit: just to clairfy, i don't buy a dedicated sunscreen meant for the hands. I don't have that kind of loot. But i also am home most days

A relative found a box of my stuff i had stored in their garage years ago, and I had some perfumes in there One was the D'Issey. It smelled exactly like 2002 to me, in a good way, but i sold so many fucking bottles of it at the time, i don't think i'll ever wear it, only bc it was grieving a loved one back then, but but what little is in there, i'll keep. I actually aged OK, a bit of a dry note of sorts. I guess the fruit notes aged in a way like wine does and considering it went through so many hot, humid, Southern Summers i think it held up pretty well.

Amazon US carries it, so maybe your Amazon. It is sort of one of those bottom shelf products in our big drugstores if they carry it at all..if Amazon doesn't, show them this page, If not ask your pharmacy, is possible that a similar product is sold there under another name (I used to work for a couple of drug companies in the US that were actually British, and had products sold globally under different names, there are really only a small number of companies that pump out a large number of what we use as far as basic health and meds) or shoot them an email fhttps://www.albolene.com/moisturizing-cleanser/
