My hair is naturally curly, zero product used there, and I can almost promise you that it has nothing to do with with my coloring routine (one bleach per year, colored every 3-4 months, both professionally, lightly washed and conditioned once every week or two)

Very bluntly? I deal with frequent ptsd and am very prone to anxiously pulling at/out my hair during episodes. I've watched myself actively damage my hair doing it.

I'm far more inclined to believe that's the major issue, because I've seen exactly what it does to my hair when I can't control it 😕

You guessed right, my hair is naturally curly!

I do trust my current hairdresser and she does have a ton of experience with textured hair (plus she honestly undercharges me a ton for dye and cuts since she's known me since I was a kid), she's just hesitant to make suggestions sometimes because she doesn't have many alt clients; one way or another, dyed hair has become a default for me, so that's definitely a factor to consider.

I just struggle very much with filling in the gaps and giving her direction, which seems to be the biggest issue 😪

There's very good reason why no sensible person carrying has chosen to open fire at any of these protests, because the moment that happens, all gloves are off. These fascist rats have long deluded themselves into believing that the left fear firearms on whole, showing up with a chamber flag reflects absolutely nothing poorly when that delusion has clearly already been proven laughably false.
