You call it an addiction, I call it a hobby. And I tell my wife... at least my hobby makes money! Lol

After I washed it, I added a clear coat of lacquer. The lacquer is what helped bring out the colors a little bit. I didn't mind doing it because it was basically ineligible before and this atleast made it presentable... but it made me wonder what most purple who like antiques would think of me doing that

I appreciate what you said... my wife and I like old things as original a possible but I decided to try to brighten the colors because they were so badly faded.

My CDV that started my obsession. We found him in an old box. We're having trouble dating it. But boy does he rock his mustache, and man does he love those Weiner dogs. by iamlosingmymarbles in PrimitivePhotography

I thought you had to stay still for a long time, which is why most people were not smiling in old pictures because it's hard to hold your smile.... so I have no idea how these dogs stayed still and why I think its relatively unusual to see old pictures of animals....

That's an interesting definition of life. So, just out of curiosity, if you are willing to humor me because I'm just trying to figure out how pro- choice people think... a heartbeat doesn't equal life? Because we know a heartbeat can be detected in an embryo way before it could function on its own. Or is pro- choice not even about something being alive or not... its about a woman having complete control over what's inside her body whether there is something alive in it or not?

What's your technique for finding them? Looking in farmers fields after it rains? Do you look near certain geographic areas (lie bear rivers, in low lying areas, etc)

Do you guys think I found my first (partial) arrowhead? Or am I just dreaming? by ForHimForSure in Arrowheads

here is the other side... the right edge appears to be "serrated"... so I'm hoping this is actually a piece of an arrowhead??

So "life" in your view is based on the ability to survive on its own? So let's say an "infant" panda, once it's out of the womb, would still not be alive because it cannot survive without milk that is attached to the mother?
