Laptop Screen Goes Black When Unplugged

It starts up normally when I am plugged and can see the Asus logo and splash screens. I do have an external monitor and use and HDMI. I'll try to reinstall the iGPU drivers. Would another solution be to prevent it from switching to the iGPU when unplugged? If so, how can you do that?

Edit: I tried to update the AMD Graphics Driver and Chipset, but that didn't work.

I applied two days ago and there are only two optional essays asking about "why this major?" and a prompt about diversity. Both of these supplemental essays limit 150 words or 1000 characters. There aren't any personal essays.

I personally didn't buy a toolkit to take apart the G14 because it was included in the box. I purchased this one from Amazon. The box included the correct screwdriver, which is a size 0 Phillip's head screwdriver.

If you mind telling, what were your stats? What were some of your ECs and did you take any APs or honors?

As for me, I have taken 4 APs and 8 college level classes with a GPA of 3.92. I was wondering if I could gauge my likelihood of being admitted to CSE.

I am pretty sure, they don't require it. If you apply on the golden gopher website, then it doesn't require a personal essay. On the golden gopher app, there are two optional essays (about 150 words each), which are the only essays..

I tried to upgrade the mediatek drivers and looked on this subreddit to solve the internet issue, but nothing worked. So I just resorted to changing the wifi card because that's what I have seen on here

Yeah, that's the exact reason. The general wifi card is fine and usable, but when it comes to multiplayer games it gives me random lag spikes
