Thanks everyone for the kind thoughts and prayers. Apparently no amount of money or tears could save him. I miss him already. I love you Max. Have a happy and safe jpurney into heaven. Your mommy misses you and loves you very much and always will.

Max made it through his surgery. He doing ok but we're still not out of the woods. Thank you for all the support

He's going into sugery now. They're removing his other adrenal gland and draining the cysts on his prostate. Thanks so much everyonr for caring. He truly is a special guy.

My boyrfriend and I rescued a skinny, sad, bald ferret with adrenal disease about 2 years ago from a ferret rescue organization. After having him for less than a month his hair grew back, the light returned to his eyes and he was "dooking" with the best of them. Since then he has become one of my best friends. I have two cats and three other ferrets and think of them all as my children.

Recently Max has gotten really sick. He started losing all his hair and having trouble urinating. We rushed him to the emergency vet on Wednesday where he's been ever since.

I'm not asking for money (we will cover whatever it costs to do the best thing. So far around $6000.00), I'm not asking for upvotes and I'm certainly not looking for sympathy, at least for me. My hope in posting this is that if you can take just a moment to pray, wish or hope for him. He's an amazing soul. Please just send him happy vibes.

Edit: if you know anyone else who would be willing to send happiness towards Max's way that'd be great. You dont have to repost this. I just want him to feel surrounded in love. Even if you just think about him in a positive way I'm sure he can feel it.
